Illum

Ilum is a fictional planet in the Star Wars universe.

Features

In the fictional universe of the work, it is an icy planet covered by snow storms where the most secret Jedi temple of the Order was located. Anyone who needed a crystal to forge a new lightsaber could come to him. Crystals of all colors sprouted naturally from the rocks of the temple carved into the rock of a mountain.

During the Clone Wars Count Dooku, a former Jedi, decided to reveal the secret location of the temple so that the crystals would be destroyed and sent an army of Chameleon Androids to mine it for bombs. But coincidentally, Jedi Master Luminara Unduli and her apprentice Barriss Offee were on Ilum looking for new crystals. The Jedi were skilled enough to partly contain the explosions and the droids' action, but ended up engulfed by a mountain of rocks. One day later, Master Yoda traveled with Padmé Amidala to Ilum to rescue the two Jedi safely.
