Homestar Runner

Homestar Runner is an American animated series created in Adobe Flash and distributed digitally. It mixes surreal humor with references to popular culture from the 70s, 80s and 1990s, especially video games, television and music.

It started with a children's book called The Homestar Runner Enters the Strongest Man in the World Contest, but in its later years it has targeted teens and young adults. The site contains short episodes, games, downloads and a store, through which the site is kept ad-free.

Characters

• Homestar Runner:

"Everyone loves Homestar Runner. "He is an incredible athlete." He made his first appearance in the original book. It is interesting to note that he has no visible arms of any kind.

• Pom Pom:

Pom Pom (also spelled Pom-Pom) has been cited as Homestar Runner's best friend on several occasions. However, he has also been seen with Strong Bad and even other less popular characters. Since his first appearance, his personality has become more presumptuous in front of others.

• Strong Bad:

Making his debut in the original book, Strong Bad was the cliché villain of the series. However, his personality has become more of a simple bully than a true villain. He has his own 'program' which he stars in, the so-called Strong Bad Email, a weekly update where he responds to an email from a fan. He is the most recognized character on the site, even more so than Homestar himself.

• Strong Mad and Strong Sad:

They are brothers of Strong Bad, less popular than him. Strong Mad is recognized for being large and square and, as his name indicates, being angry most of the time, in contrast to Strong Sad, who is round and was characterized in the early days of the site by being depressive, although he hardly does anymore. He looks sad at all.

• Bubs:

Bubs is a local seller, and has a store called Bubs' Concession Stand. He runs after the store to a black market, where he sells normally illegal things to sell in his store. His mouth is permanently closed in a smile showing his teeth.

• Coach Z:

Coach Z is a referee, although he doesn't seem to know what a basketball is. He comes from a strange country, where he was supposedly a renowned rapper. He has also released singles in his current country. He is characterized by having an accent that makes him mispronounce words with a long i sound.

• The Cheat:

The Cheat is Strong Bad's pet (from whom he frequently gets kicked) and Strong Mad's best friend. His motto is & # 34; No Rule is Solid & # 34;. According to Strong Bad's memory, he hatched from an egg, accompanied by fish fingers.

• Marzipan:

Marzipan has been named as Homestar Runner's girlfriend (and that was apparently her original role when she was introduced), however, she has many other reasons that added up over time. Strong Bad describes her as "A hippie full of dirt, without the land". Interestingly, she can play the guitar without arms or hands.

• The King of Town:

Frequently described as a glutton, the king has limited power over the inhabitants of his country. However, it has been evident that he is not obeyed in many things, and his word is not entirely the law. The Poopsmith is one of his servants, and his job is to shovel fecal matter.

• Homsar:

An erratic character, created from the word "Homestar" misspelled in an email from Strong Bad. This character seems to have a bad relationship with the majority of the country's inhabitants. However, Homestar Runner has admired him on occasion, and he is described as Strong Sad's only friend. He tends to speak in indirect ways, sometimes simply saying meaningless words.
