The National Congress of Fantasy and Science Fiction, commonly known as HispaCon, is a congress held in Spain since 1969 and annually since 1991. In This congress brings together, under the supervision of the Spanish Association of Fantasy, Science Fiction and Terror (AEFCFT), fans, scholars and authors of the science fiction, fantasy and horror genres. During HispaCon, the Ordinary Assembly of the convening association is also held, an activity open only to members.

HispaCon does not have a fixed venue: each year the HispaCon venue is chosen to be held two years later. The material organization of the event is the responsibility of a group of partners who reside in the town of celebration. Precisely to highlight this mobile and rotating character, many times a specific name has been chosen for the meeting of a specific year, related to the city that hosts it.

Diverse activities are held at HispaCon, always related to fantastic genres: conferences, round tables, exhibitions, signing sessions, book presentations, etc. In addition, space is granted for various publishers to sell their products. Since 2020, as part of HispaCon, some role-playing days, the Jornadas Pórtico, have been organized.

Participants have the right to vote in the current year's Ignotus Awards.
