The Higher Technical School of Engineering and Industrial Design (ETSIDI) is a center belonging to the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

History

The Higher Technical School of Engineering and Industrial Design (ETSIDI) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) emerged in 2013 as a transformation of the University School of Industrial Technical Engineering. The origins of this Center go back to the year 1795. With more than 220 years of history, and in different locations in the city of Madrid, the titles have been given that, with different denominations and subject to different legislation, have led to the current Degrees in Engineering, adapted to the European Higher Education Area.

Students who enter this School receive versatile and multidisciplinary training in the various fields of industrial engineering and product design and development.

The updating of content, the "rigor" of the teachings and the use of new teaching methodologies offer ETSIDI-UPM graduates the necessary learning to develop their professional attributions and provide them with skills such as: leadership, autonomy, creativity and internationalization.
