In Basque mythology, Herensuge ("herensuge" means dragon in Basque). It flew leaving a trail of fire and making a terrifying sound. He ate horses and donkeys, and sometimes kidnapped human beings and drowned them, ate them, or just drove them crazy.

He can attract animals with his breath.

There are multiple descriptions of this dragon, with multiple names (such as: Erensuge, Lerensuge, Herainsuge, Errensuge, Hensuge, Edensuge, Edeinsuge, Edaansuge, Igensuge or Iraunsuge). According to some legends, he has seven heads, according to others, only one. He would also have multiple shelters. There are several different stories about his death, each one at the hands of a different hero.
