Hamtaro (とっとこハム太郎, Tottoko Hamutarō ?) is a 3-volume manga by Ritsuko Kawai published in 1997 by Shogakukan, which produced an anime series in which Gosho Aoyama worked designing human characters, has also produced 4 OVAs, 4 movies, and some video games. It stars a hamster named Hamtaro (Hamutarō ハム太郎) and his friends, the Ham-Hams . The tagline for the series is Little Hamsters, Big Adventures.

The anime series is fully rated for all audiences, adventure/comedy genre, although the subgenre of magic content was added from chapter 194 with the first appearance of Lapis and Lazuli, currently has 296 chapters of approximately 20 minutes each; In addition to having a special season called "Haai!" and each of its chapters only lasts 5 minutes. The four OVAs can be considered as special chapters that are much longer than the others.

Of the 296 episodes that the series has, in the United States, in Latin America and in Spain only 104 were broadcast on television, and NOT these are the first 104, actually they are from the first chapter to 82 and from 84 to 105, this is because what is actually chapter number 83 was never broadcast in the United States, Latin America or Spain because the chapter deals with Setsubun, although that chapter was dubbed in Chinese, in French, Italian and German, so it is totally absurd that it was never broadcast in Spanish or English, in addition to the fact that the 104 episodes that were broadcast in Spanish and English have American censorship.

None of the four films were dubbed outside of Japan and the same occurs with the third OVA, on the other hand the first, second and fourth OVA were dubbed in the United States (although not in Latin America or Spain), but with censorship and modifications compared to the original versions.

As for video games, the saga has 2 Game Boy Color video games (The first one never left Japan but the second one did.), 3 Game Boy Advance and 2 Nintendo DS (The first Nintendo DS video game never left Japan but the second one did.). The 3 Game Boy Advance video games are considered the best in the series.

Synopsis

Characters

Hamsters

These are the 17 protagonists, a clear description of each of them is shown below (The names of each of the characters are shown here in this order: Spanish version of Spain, Spanish version of Latin America, Spanish version from United States and original version from Japan, some characters have the same name in several versions.):

  • Hamtaro/ (Hamutarō ⋅(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Chapter 1. In the movies: "Hamtaro: Adventures in Ham Park" (2001). In video games: "Tottoko Hamutaro: Tomodachi Daisaku Ikusa Dechu" (2000, only in Japan) for Game Boy Color, it is controllable in all video games although in "Hamtaro the rainbow rescue" it is the only one in which it begins to be played controlling Lacitos first.

MAIN APPEARANCE: In all of them.

Even though Hamtaro has once played the role of the thief Robin-Ham, he is the warmest, friendliest, most adventurous character of all. He is always willing to help anyone, especially Lacitos, whom he takes care of almost as much as his owner Laura. The most important missions and objectives are usually carried out by Hamtaro, except when they are related to romance, since then he needs the help of his best friend Lacitos. In general, all the challenges that Los Ham-Hams have faced have been solved by Hamtaro, either alone or together with Lacitos; To get an idea, if this saga were the video game Donkey Kong Country 2, then Hamtaro would be Diddy Kong and Lacitos would be Dixie Kong. Hamtaro has always gone with Lacitos at almost all times because, according to him, she is the one with whom he gets along better when in reality it is because he feels something special for her, but Hamtaro is denied in things about love, among other things because he is incapable to solve anything related to love if it is not with the help of Lacitos, as examples of this are when Tigrilla told what she feels about Brainy but Hamtaro did not find out anything and did not know how to help Tigrilla nor did he know how to help Spots when he confessed that he likes Pepper. Despite not understanding about love issues, Hamtaro is very embarrassing in these things like Lacitos. Although Hamtaro has many friends, the one he feels the closest friendship with is Little Spots, who was also the first hamster he met when he moved to the city. Every time he leaves the house to go to the club, he does it by going down the pipe in the ceiling and landing on top of his lazy but great companion: the dog Brandy, whom he does not hesitate to call very often for help, because Brandy has gotten Los Ham-Hams out of a lot of trouble as if she were the Yoshi that helps Mario and Luigi so much. Despite what he feels for Lacitos, Hamtaro has never been jealous when a boy tries to "get closer" to her, but he does get jealous when it happens with her owner Laura hers. Although on rare occasions, Little Bows has gotten mad at Hamtaro when he didn't even know why, Hamtaro has never been the one to get mad at Little Bows. Hamtaro panics every time he rides a roller coaster or something like that.

  • Lacitos/ Colitas/ Bijou/ Ribon/ Xingolin (Ribon-chan ̄s betrayal(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Chapter 1. In the movies: "Hamtaro: Adventures in Ham Park" (2001). In video games: "Tottoko Hamutaro: Tomodachi Daisaku Ikusa Dechu" (2000, only in Japan) for Game Boy Color, but we control her for the first time in "Hamtaro Heartbreaker" for Game Boy Advance (2003).

APPEARANCE WITH GREATER LEADERSHIP: In general, it has a lot of prominence in the vast majority of video games, movies and episodes, among the best are:

First Season: Episodes 15 and 36. Second Season: Chapters 77 and 103. Third Season: Chapters 132 and 168. Fourth Season: Chapters 208 and 269.

Lacitos is, without any doubt, the main female protagonist and the deuteragonist of the saga, since, of all the characters, only Hamtaro himself is more of a protagonist than her. Almost all male hamsters consider the Bowknots to be beautiful, not only on the outside, but also on the inside, and with good reason. Of all the characters, Lacitos is the most crafty after Harmony and Penelope (that is, she is among the least clumsy) except when she tries to propose to Hamtaro, since then clumsiness and bad luck invade her, which always prevents her from declaring herself. Hamtaro and Lacitos is unquestionably the most famous couple in the entire saga (especially for the video game "Hamtaro Rompecorazones") even if the couples in the saga that are not in love like Pashima and Penelope, who are a couple of great friends, were included. or Tigrillo and Tigrilla who are a pair of twin brothers. Lacitos began to feel attracted to Hamtaro as soon as she moved with her owner María from France to Japan. Hamtaro was the first one who told her about her (Boss doesn't tell about her because he actually stuttered) and the first great friend of hers in Japan. He sang to cheer her up and after her she winked, but Hamtaro didn't know what she meant to him with that gesture because he didn't know what that gesture meant. Lacitos did not dare to join Los Ham-Hams until the 4th chapter for fear that María would discover her; From then on and day by day, Hamtaro was conquering the heart of Lacitos through his kindness, sympathy, manners and courage without him ever noticing and without it being his intention, in the same way, Lacitos never realized that Boss is in love with her. Currently, Lacitos is very determined to declare her love to Hamtaro, but between both he and she are very embarrassing in matters of love and that she never finds the best moment to declare herself or something ruins her opportunity to declare herself because of a bad Luckily, she hasn't gotten it yet even though she's known Hamtaro for years. Coming from France, Lacitos always speaks with a French accent, acts like a polite lady but without being posh or cheesy, and she has never lacked money because she lives in a mansion where she is treated like a princess, but never quite never to spoil her, she is passionate about laces and gems but despite all this she is not just a typical feminine cliché, she is much more than that, she is more than she seems, among other things because of her performances as Hamciosillo Azul in the video game "Hamtaro the rainbow rescue", as one of The Little Bandits and other interpretations that break clichés and stereotypes. Her favorite color is blue. Not counting Harmony, she is the character who knows best about love issues, despite the fact that she can't solve hers. Lacitos is cute in every sense of the word: she is sweet, affectionate and with a big heart, but if she wants to she can be very naughty and mischievous just like the other Chicas-Ham can be, despite that, she is the ideal companion for any hamster and although he doesn't exactly have a lot of strength, he has a marvelous aim and he's also great at tennis.

  • Chief/ Grand Chief/ Boss/ Taisho/(Taishō-kun كاماتعربية(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Chapter 1. In the movies: "Hamtaro: Adventures in Ham Park" (2001). In video games: "Tottoko Hamutaro: Tomodachi Daisaku Ikusa Dechu" (2000, only in Japan) for Game Boy Color, but we control it for the 1st time in "Hamtaro Ham Ham Games" for Game Boy Advance (2004, taking into account that "Ham Ham Games" came to Europe before "Rainbow Rescue" when in fact it had to be the other way around).

APPEARANCE WITH A GREATER LEADERSHIP: There are many episodes in which he plays a leading role, among them are episodes 31 (First Season), 56, 90 (Both from the 2nd Season) and 228 (Fourth Season).

The leader of Los Ham-Hams, he is because he is the strongest and fastest of all (only Tía Chispas beats him in the races), the closest he is to reaching adolescence (And despite that he many times he behaves like a very sensitive child), the one who knows the most about life in nature, and also his home is at the same time The Ham-Ham Club. Apart from Troty, Big Boss is the only Ham member that has no owner and has to take care of himself in the wild every day to survive; Gorrilla admires him a lot for that. Although he seems the most macho of the protagonists, on many occasions Jefazo has dressed and made up like a girl of his own free will and when he does, he even behaves like one, which makes the others very uncomfortable. Boss is very good at digging tunnels, which are used as secret entrances to the Ham-Ham Club or as emergency exits. Jefazo fell in love with Lacitos as soon as she moved to the same city, but he is so shy that when he tries to declare himself he stutters, and despite how much Lacitos knows about love, it never occurred to him that Jefazo had fallen in love with her.. Due to his enormous clumsiness and shyness, every time Boss comes up with a tactic to win over Bowknot, he asks Hamtaro to help him and Hamtaro ends up being the one who wins Bowknot's love without Hamtaro himself noticing. of it, although there are also occasions in which Jefazo manages to show Lacitos the good boy he is. After Tigrilla, Jefazo is the one who gets most annoyed with Tigrillo and the one who least supports him, especially every time Tigrillo tries to flirt with Lacitos. Very often, Jefazo and Tigrillo compete with each other in some sport, some of them are by teams and then Jefazo and Tigrillo are the leader of each team and each one decides which member to put in theirs. Boss, despite the fact that he often boasts of being some kind of SuperHam, as soon as he steps on a ship he already gets dizzy and when he sings he has a horrible voice.

  • Koushi/(Kōshi-kun ✕(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Chapter 1. In the movies: "Hamtaro: Adventures in Ham Park" (2001). In video games: "Tottoko Hamutaro: Tomodachi Daisaku Ikusa Dechu" (2000, only in Japan) for Game Boy Color, but we control it for the 1st time in "Hamtaro Ham Ham Games" for Game Boy Advance (2004, taking into account that "Ham Ham Games" came to Europe before "Rainbow Rescue" when in fact it had to be the other way around).

APPEARANCE WITH GREATER LEVEL: There are many episodes in which it has a lot of prominence, among them are episodes 37 and 42 of the 1st season, 53 and 70 of the 2nd season and 296 (last episode of the 4th season).

In general, Manchitas's personality is almost the same as that of the famous Obelix: greedy, shy when falling in love, good-natured and somewhat slow when it comes to thinking (although the truth is, Manchitas is also very slow to run, what's more, He is one of the slowest characters and one of the last in a race). He likes to eat so much that he always carries the same pipe in his paws to smell it and on many occasions he loses it, and when that happens he starts looking for it desperately and crying as if it were the only pipe left in the world. Spotty is Hamtaro's best friend and the first hamster Hamtaro met when he first moved to town. Although at the beginning of the series he tried to get closer to Lacitos, Manchitas ended up falling in love with Pimienta, the hamster of farmer Dylan, Karla's cousin, who is the owner of Manchitas. So in love were Spots and Pepper that they were the only hamster couple to get married, and then move in together on Dylan's farm.

  • Pashmina/ Muffler (Mafurā-chan ♫ ♫(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Chapter 2.

MAIN APPEARANCE: Chapter 22 (First Season).

A girl who is so affectionate that several male hamsters have tried unsuccessfully to get Pashmina to be his girlfriend. Unlike many others, Pashmina is rarely overcome by awkwardness thanks to her lucky pink scarf, which she considers her greatest sentimental treasure. Pashmina takes care of Penélope with great affection at all times, except when Pashmina has to go with her owner Juanita, although since Juanita and Kyoko (Penelope's owner) are very close friends, sometimes they don't even separate when each one is with their owner. Pashmina loves themes about love, although she is the only one of the Ham Girls who has never fallen in love with her, despite the fact that there are several guys who would love to have her as their girlfriend. Pashmina is not as adorable all the time as she seems, among other things because she is one of The Little Bandits and is physically the strongest and most resilient of the girls.

  • Penelope/Chibimaru (Chibimaru-chan أعربية(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Chapter 2. In the cinema: "Hamtaro adventures in Ham Park" (2001).

MAIN APPEARANCE: Chapter 62 (Second Season).

Although she is still a baby who only knows how to say “ukiu”, and she is the smallest and strongest of all The Ham-Hams, Penelope has shown on many occasions that she is not exactly inept, being much smarter than it seems, although she is also the one that gets into the most trouble, even putting her life in danger, so Los Ham-Hams have to be aware of saving her as soon as possible. Penelope is very fond of Pashmina and doesn't like being separated from her at all, much less that Tigrillo tries to flirt with Pashmina; the feeling of camaraderie is so deep that the 2 together are both Little Bandits and Ham-Ninjas at the same time. Despite her very young age, Penelope has fallen in love on several occasions: with Humberto the pig, with a rabbit.... Even with a human! But in both cases she sadly had to accept that they were impossible loves. Penelope usually wears a yellow sheet that covers almost her entire body as if she were a ghost; without a sheet Penelope has all her white fur except the upper part which is brown including her ears which are the only thing that is seen of Penelope when she wears the sheet. Her owner Kyoko is the shortest of her class and is often trying to prove to her best friend her Juanita that Penelope is better than her hamster her Pashmina.

  • Panda/tello (Panda-kun ⋅(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Chapter 3. In the cinema: "Hamtaro adventures in Ham Park" (2001). In video games: "Tottoko Hamutaro: Tomodachi Daisaku Ikusa Dechu" (2000, Japan only) for Game Boy Color, but we control it for the 1st time in "Hamtaro the Rainbow Rescue" (2004) for Game Boy Advance.

MAIN APPEARANCE: Chapter 19 (First Season).

Panda is a great carpenter just like his owner Mimi's father: the swings, the table, the stools and the slide at El Ham-Ham Club were built and/or repaired by him, but without a doubt the biggest One of his works was the construction of the first Amusement Park for hamsters. The Boobabies (Characters from the video game Hamtaro Ham-Ham Games) greatly admire Panda for his great skills and his handling with nails, a hammer and other tools, although when it comes to facing cats Panda becomes just as or even more cowardly. than Manchitas himself. Mimi is the only human who knows about the secret of Los Ham-Hams (except for the club), but being so small (she only knows how to count to 3) she doesn't realize that it's not normal for hamsters to do those things.

  • Gafitas/ Dandy/ Dexter/ Megane (Megane-kun ear consuming wisdom(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Chapter 2. In the movies: "Hamtaro: Adventures in Ham Park" (2001). In video games: "Tottoko Hamutaro: Tomodachi Daisaku Ikusa Dechu" (2000, only in Japan) for Game Boy Color, but we control it for the 1st time in "Hamtaro the Rainbow Rescue" for Game Boy Advance (2004).

MAIN APPEARANCE: Chapter 29 (First Season).

Elegant, formal, polite and gentlemanly, that's how Gafitas tries to be every day, but on certain occasions it's very difficult for him to behave civilly, especially because of the countless times he fights with Pranks because he is, along with Big Boss, the one who less put up with Jokes. Despite his attempts to be correct in everything, misfortunes pounce on Gafitas in the worst way he imagines, and without him being able to do anything in time to avoid them. Gafitas lives with his owner, who is the owner of an optician; In it there are usually some mechanical tools that are left over and then Gafitas takes advantage of them to make something useful.

MAIN APPEARANCE: Chapter 20 (First Season).

Unexpectedly, one day when Boss returns home, he finds an unknown hamster sleeping on his table; It is not known where he comes from or what he does there, not even his real name. Since there was no way to wake him up, the Ham-Hams had to accept him as a member and Big Boss had to let him live in his house, and he was the one who decided to call him Marmotin. Although he has never been seen awake, at the most unexpected moments Marmotín mentions to the others some phrase full of philosophy related to the problem they are having at that moment, so it could be said that, at least in a figurative sense, Marmotín is the most awake of the group. Groundhog always sleeps inside a human sock and whenever The Ham-Hams go for a long time outside the club, one of them ties Groundhog to his back sock and all, as if he were a baby. Marmotín's face is very, very similar to Omar's, which tends to cause everyone a lot of confusion.

Tigrilla is without a doubt the most agile character in the entire saga due to her great skills in rhythmic gymnastics, juggling and acrobatics. When her owner Elena had to ask her friend Noel to take care of Tigrillo, Elena had to give Tigrilla a lot of toys so she wouldn't feel lonely; It was those same toys that made her have those skills. Tigrilla fell in love with Cerebrín just when he told her to meet her brother again very soon and not to lose hope, it was the first official couple that was formed in the saga and it is one of the best, many times Tigrilla stays Gazing intently at Brainy and has never dared to kiss him despite the fact that they have been together for several years now and there is not a single Valentine's Day in which she does not give him his gift, among what she feels for Brainy There is the one that reminds her a lot of her brother when he took care of her when she cried, got lost or got sick. In the same chapter in which she fell in love with Brainstorm, she taught the other Ham-Girls to correctly handle the rhythmic gymnastics ribbon, the main weapon not only of Tigrilla but also of Las Pequeñas Bandidas, despite not being as strong as Pashmina or as light as Penelope, she is The Little Bandit more difficult to catch. Tigrilla often gets too annoying with her boyfriend or her brother, either because she wants to spend as much time as possible with Cerebrín or to keep an eye on Tigrillo and make sure she doesn't try to flirt with anyone. Apart from that of Las Pequeñas Bandidas, Tigrilla has put on a lot of different costumes of a typical comic book anti-heroine, among them: that of Hamciosillo Naranja in the video game "Hamtaro the rainbow rescue". Tigrillo always has a great desire for love and affection, so he tries to get a girlfriend at all costs and uses tricks to get closer to any girl (most of the time he tries it with Bows and/or Pashmina, but in general, he succeeds). does with each of the girls he gets to know), acting like a flirt. He often cheats to flirt, for example, presuming that he receives many love letters from girls and many Valentine's gifts when in reality it is a lie, he becomes quite annoying, he has a witty rubbish, since everything that comes to him happens to him always turns out to be worse (the only exception was when he proposed to create a newspaper for hamsters, and thus "El Diario Ham" was born) and he always ends up in embarrassing situations, either because of his sister's pestering or his own bad luck, so today he is satisfied with the caress of any girl, that's right: when it's a boy who gets affectionately with him like giving him a hug, like friends, Tigrillo does not want to be come closer, and one of the things that makes you most excited is to really receive a Valentine's gift; despite everything, he never gives up until he gets it. His sister has to keep an eye on him, and when she catches him flirting, she grabs him by the tail with the end of her ribbon, pulls him away from the girls and scolds him, but despite that, Tigrillo loves Tigrillo very much. His sister considers her to be the prettiest girl in the world and the two brothers are often seen dancing together affectionately. Tigrillo is very athletic, he has a lot of energy, he is the boy who has the most resistance to colds and among the sports he practices are soccer, tennis, athletics, snowboarding and some other risky sports. The greatest attraction that Tigrillo has felt for a girl is when he met Flora La Hamfermera, on one occasion Flora believed that her owner Doctor León was going to make her marry someone and that made Tigrillo fall into depression, but everything was a misunderstanding, Tigrillo cheered up again when he found out that Flora was not going to get married. Although he is depressed for love, for not finding a partner, he loves to see her sister happy when she is with her boyfriend Brain Brain. On many occasions, he competes against Jefazo both to find out who is better in a specific sport and to discover who manages to conquer Lacitos. Despite the fact that he comes off as a real jerk when he tries to flirt, Tigrillo is a good guy at heart and really deserves more tenderness than his sister thinks.

  • Bromites/ Bromine/ Howdy/ Maido (Maido-kun Comprising(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Chapter 2. In the cinema: "Hamtaro adventures in Ham Park" (2001). In video games: "Tottoko Hamutaro: Tomodachi Daisaku Ikusa Dechu" (2000, only in Japan) for Game Boy Color, but we control it for the 1st time in "Hamtaro the Rainbow Rescue" for Game Boy Advance (2004).

Jokes is usually seen in his store selling, doing calculations with his abacus or sweeping, and he always looks for any excuse to cover himself with dough, he also has a childhood friend named Hannah of whom he has very fond memories and she is the The only one who finds jokes in Bromitas funny. Trotty has a very curious gift: he is unable to learn a single name well!, except that of his traveling companion: a pig named Humberto. While traveling, Trotty often relaxes by playing his guitar, and since he is very philosophical, he also tells poems that no one makes any sense to, not least because they are full of complicated metaphors.

Gorrilla is one of the most adorable and fan-loved male characters in the saga despite not being strong or brave. Also, Gorrilla is the second youngest Ham-Ham of all, below Penelope. Gorrilla has a huge collection of hats in her house and some of them aren't really hats at all but pans, caps and other things that a hamster might wear as a hat. Gorilla was the hamster that played hide-and-seek the best (among other things because of how well it blends in) until Trapadillo appeared, and although at first they didn't stop fighting and competing, they ended up being very good friends since they saved each other's lives on each other. Interestingly, Hamtaro and Gorrilla celebrate their birthdays on the exact same day (August 6). Gorrilla lives with a happy married couple who treat Gorrilla like their baby to such an extent that he is the only one of the 17 protagonists who has a hamster-sized mattress bed in his cage instead of simply sleeping on top of the straw and he is also the hamster that it has the biggest cage and inside it looks more like a human house. Gorrilla greatly admires both Big Boss and Spat, as he finds them both cool.

  • Diablito/ Spat (Devihamu-kun/Debihamu-kun(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Episode 130 (Third Season). In the movies: Unfortunately, it has never appeared in the movies, although it is not surprising that it will happen in the future. In video games: The only time he appears is in Game Boy Advance's "Hamtaro Rompecorazones" (2003) and it is not possible to control him.

MAIN APPEARANCE: Apart from the aforementioned video game and episode, it appears in episodes 232 and 244, both from the 4th Season.

The most evil and clumsy hamster of all (Well, everything that is evil is clumsy.) It is, without the slightest doubt, the main antagonist of the entire saga despite also being the enemy of Los Ham-Hams which took the longest to appear, so that later they say that the best villains are the most classic! Spat is one of the most popular villains in furry anime as much as Kuromi from “My Melody” or Diana and Dian from “Jewelpet”. According to him, Spat is happy doing mischief but since he met Hamtaro and Bijou it's getting harder and harder. The confrontations that Hamtaro and Bijou have had with Spat are the most anticipated, desired and amazing moments of the saga and where there is usually more action unless there is an even greater danger than Spat. Spat has the strange habit of saying "Pfpth" very often, especially when he laughs or gets angry, his eyes give the impression that he does not have loving feelings, the bat-like wings of his suit allow him to fly although it is very difficult to handle them, Through his trident he can launch either ultraviolet rays to attack or an evil substance that when it reaches someone he thinks and acts like Spat and even has eyes like his, with whom he has used this ability the most times is with Big Boss and Jokes since they are the worst behaved. At first, Spat's pranks consisted mainly of ruining all kinds of love: romance, friendship, appreciation, special affection, etc. The reasons were for pleasant fun, because he hated love with all his strength and above all to prevent his eternal archenemy Harmony (NOTICE BELOW FOR REVELATIONS OF THE HEARTBREAKER HAMTARO VIDEO GAME UNTIL THE END OF THIS CHARACTER'S DESCRIPTION:) make Love Shots, a very powerful weapon that when there is a high level of love sprays Spat with it, which turns his demon suit into an angel one, preventing him from doing anything bad forever, which is the most Spat thing fear in the whole world. With total ruin of love, Spat has been able to lie, steal, threaten and even manipulate others and without feeling any remorse, because he cannot feel free, relieved or calm until he is free of Harmony forever. Spat's lair is La Torre Vile, a place where he rests from each defeat and where he has The Hamminator 3000, a winged and armored robot in the shape of Spat's head where Spat attacks from within by shooting beams of light through the robot's eyes and tornadoes. for the wings Interestingly, Gorrilla greatly admires Spat as well as Big Boss despite the fact that Spat sold him a cap that she had stolen. Of all the protagonists of the saga who use evil, hero or anti-hero costumes, Spat is the only one who wears it all the time, without him Spat has neither wings nor antennae, his skin is white and his hair is black, on the The only moment where he can be seen without a suit is in a scene from the video game "Hamtaro Heartbreaker", it is a very brief moment and on top of that he can only be seen from behind and in profile.

  • Harmony (Angel-chan/Enjeru-chan מה(c):

FIRST APPEARANCES:

On TV: Episode 130 (Third Season). In the movies: Unfortunately, it has never appeared in the movies, although it is not surprising that it will happen in the future. In video games: The only time it appears is in "Hamtaro Heartbreaker" for Game Boy Advance (2003) and it is not possible to control it.

MAIN APPEARANCE: Apart from the aforementioned video game and episode, it appears in episodes 232 and 244, both from the 4th Season.

A kind of Care Bear in a hamster version is Harmony: A sweet angel who watches over the love of the world and especially of the hamsters to keep it safe from the misdeeds of her eternal enemy Spat. Harmony can sense where Spat is at all times and thus go after him or ask him and/or notify Hamtaro and Bijou. Harmonia spends all her time chasing Spat to stop her evil deeds (NOTICE BELOW HEARTBREAKER HAMTARO VIDEO GAME REVEALS UNTIL THE END OF THIS CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:) and she can only make sure that she won't be able to he do more by spraying him with Love Shots, a powerful weapon that Harmony makes although she can only do it when there is enough love between the hamsters. Apart from the fact that he never gets rid of her and that if Los Tiros de Amor reaches him he can't go back to evil, another of the reasons Spat has for hating Harmony is that she loves everything he hates: the romance, tender relationships, couples in love, appreciation and other related things.

And then, these are the secondary hamsters of the saga, they are the friends that The Ham-Hams have met during their adventures and although they don't see them very often, they usually visit them whenever they can, especially in important events such as Hamtaro's birthday or Spots and Pepper's wedding (Wise-Ham and Tía Sparkles visit the Ham-Hams so frequently that some viewers believe that they are also protagonists), despite being secondary they are also very important in the saga:

Wise-Ham seems like a formal adult, but he is more of a rascal than he seems since on some other occasion he has stolen objects from humans and played very unexpected pranks on Los Ham-Hams (on some occasions he had the help of Tía Chispas to put it into practice.) or even played Santa Claus on their first Christmas. Wise-Ham has known Tía Chispas for a long time and is so in love with her that on one occasion he unsuccessfully tried to ask her to marry him. Enemies

The following characters (not all of them are hamsters) are considered the villains of the series due to their attitude and intentions, Spat despite being the one who took the longest to appear is the main villain and Estrellita is also considered villain, being of all these the one that appears the most times in the series:

  • The Crow: An annoying black bird that does not stop to incord all the characters in the series that is found: both hamsters and humans or even dogs. Among her feuds are: Stealing the personal objects of school students, preventing Brandy from winning the dog race and snatching Los Ham-Hams the Valentine's Gift Laura had prepared for Teo.
  • The Street Cats: Cats of all kinds of races that the Ham-Hams have the great bad luck of finding them on the street, they have a look that intimidates and despite that, Chief often faces them almost every day when he comes out to find food, Panda and Manchitas are the ones who fear him most. The Ham-Hams always try not to approach the fish alley as there are usually many cats there due to the smell of the fish coming from the port, but on one occasion Bijou went to stop there unintentionally and fainted from the fear when he saw that he was so close to a rabid cat although luckily he confused it with one of his calves. The cat puppies that appear in the series do not usually attack any hamster probably because their stomachs are not sufficiently developed to eat rodents, so they are not considered enemies.
  • The Gallos: Ferocious and aggressive birds raised by President Gallon, 3 of the most fierce are the pets of Laura's school being these 3 the most troubled have caused both Professor Felipe Yoshi and Los Ham-Hams, both have a terrible panic to all these roosters. Carlota is the only one who knows how to keep the roosters at bay without hurting them, little by little Felipe also learns it although he continues to be very afraid of them.
  • The Polli-Pollis: 5 chicks seen in the back look cute and adorable but their faces and their attitude are not at all, they are almost as ferocious and aggressive as their parents but when they are with Carlotta they behave like any normal chick. They persecute and incord the Ham-Hams every time they find them, they also attacked Philip until he saved them from drowning. On one occasion the smallest of them seemed to become a friend of Penelope but it was actually another of his bad jokes. Unexpectedly, the Polli-Pollis found one of the secret entrances of the Ham-Ham Club and while the rest of the Ham-Hams were in other tunnels doing a fire drill, the Polli-Pollis were locked in the club with Tigrillo crying in fear. In the video game “Hamtaro the rescue of the rainbow” Chief, Tigrillo and Bromitas show the others what they are capable of facing 3 of them that were furious because Manchitas had previously damaged one of them.
  • President Gallón: Millionaire and send more of a farm in which you take care of the most ferocious and aggressive roosters. He is strict, fit and does not allow his daughter Carlota to meet Felipe Yoshi because according to him he is not of good family and does not even know how to take care of the chickens. He's always looking for his daughter future husbands to look like big games and compels Carlota to have blind dates with them. Sometimes he even tries to get rid of Philip by sending some of his most fierce roosters for him or by testing him who believes that Philip will never be able to overcome them. After a lot of fighting and having the great help of Los Ham-Hams (Although without knowing it), Felipe Yoshi and Carlota are finally getting married, but then President Gallón does his best to prevent him by enclosing his daughter at home and putting Philip on terrifying traps.
  • Other: In many adventures that the Ham-Hams have faced lots of dangers and threats: furious dogs, a flying shark, a man-wolf (who was actually an evil man disguised), a dragon, a giant ogre... for not talking about the evil ones they face every time they dream interpreted by some of them (the first of them is imagined and even the less the dreamer is However, despite everything, the greatest of all is undoubtedly the diabolical Spat.
