Gros Islet is an administrative district located north of the island of Saint Lucia, a small country in the Caribbean area north of Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago. According to the 2001 census, the region has a population of 20,892 inhabitants.

The district seat is the town of Gros Islet, located 9.7 km northeast of the city of Castries (14°03'N, 60°57'W).
