Green Fire (Green Fire) is a 1954 American film directed by Andrew Marton, starring Stewart Granger, Grace Kelly, Paul Douglas, Murn Ve and Jon Eric.

Plot

Rian Mitchell (Stewart Granger) is an adventurer who has decided to search for emeralds in a South American country, Colombia. On a mountain near a river he finds a very promising vein, for which he organizes the extraction of precious stones. At the bottom of the valley is Catherine's (Grace Kelly) farm, where coffee is grown. Mitchell and Catherine hit it off, but when it starts to rain steadily and the river rises, Catherine's plantation is in serious jeopardy. The only solution would be to blow up the mountain, to change the course of the waters. But Mitchell doesn't want to lose his emerald mines, now that he's close to getting the gems.
