Granny
Grane is the horse of Brünnhilde, the older sister of the Valkyries, one of the main characters in the Wagnerian tetralogy The Ring of the Nibelung. Grani and Brünnhilde have a tremendous role in the last act of Twilight of the Gods, when they rush into the great pyre that, thanks to their immolation, burns Valhalla and restores the order that had been broken with the theft of the Rhine gold. It is, such once the most sublime musical moment in all of Wagner's oeuvre.

In the anime Digimon Tamers, the wild team, in order to help the tamers face the D-Reaper, modifies the ark they used to return them to the real world, giving it armor made up of Chrome Digizoid and an arsenal of weapons, renamed as Zero Arms Grani, in relation to this mythological horse.
In the anime Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold there is a warrior god named Sigmund de Grane, who is the older brother of Siegfried de Dubhe Alpha, and his armor "God Robe" It is represented by this mythological horse and the sword Gram.
