Gouldochloa is a monotypic genus of herbaceous plants belonging to the Poaceae family. Its only species: Gouldochloa curvifolia Valdés-Reyna, Morden et S.L.Hatch, is originally from Mexico.

Some publishers include it in the genus Chasmanthium.

Etymology

The genus was named after Frank Walton Gould (American agrostologist), and the Greek term chloa (herb).

Chromosome base number, x = 12. 2n = 24. 2 ploid.
