Goh Chok Tong (Chinese Simplified 吴作栋; Chinese Traditional 吳作棟; pinyin, Wú Zuòdòng; born 20 May 1941), is a Singaporean economist and politician.

He was the second Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, from November 28, 1990 to August 12, 2004, succeeding Lee Kuan Yew. He held office for fourteen years and is currently the Senior Minister of Singapore and Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the country's central bank.
