Godsmack is the debut album by heavy metal band Godsmack. At first it was paid for by the band itself, until they signed with a record company. The main international release took place on August 25, 1998. The group was created in 1995, but Sully Erna, vocalist, and Tony Rombola had known each other for a long time, acting in the subways, little by little they were building their foundations., from being amateurs with clear ideas, to today, great artists and professional musicians in 2006. They have released five albums, the 1st Godsmack in 1998, the 2nd Awake in 2000, the 3rd º Faceless in 2003, the 4º IV in 2006 and the 5º The Oracle in 2010.
