Gabriela Martínez del Río Moreno-Ruffo (Mexico City, December 3, 1969), known artistically as Gabriela Ruffo, is an actress, singer, host and Mexican announcer. She had a lot of exposure on Mexican television during the 90s, due to hosting the successful game shows TVO and Llévatelo.

Biography

She began her career at the age of twelve participating in soap operas with her sister Victoria. Then, triumphing over ~75 contenders, she obtained the co-hosting of the children's game show TVO. For this broadcast he recorded three albums, sharing tracks with Liza Echeverría. Such albums would obtain gold record recognition for best-seller. Thanks to the success of TVO he won the affection of the Mexican public. Towards the end of the TVO broadcast he began to go out to the interior of the Republic on weekends to sing. Months later she entered the program Llévatelo along with Paco Stanley, where due to her beauty and charisma she was called 'La muñequita del Pastel'. During this time he made the decision to launch her own calendar with her as a model. She later participated in Nuevas Tardes with Diego Schoening. Subsequently, she acted in theater in plays such as There goes the bride and Piratas with Manuel & # 34; El Loco & # 34; Valdes. In 1995 she starred in the film Rock Bewitchment in which she played a witch named Gemma and also recorded the film's soundtrack, which led her to be nominated for the Ariel Awards. Always active, she opened a center for children's parties.

During 2005, using his Montessori training, he produced the radio program La casa de los niños which he also hosted together with his nephew José Eduardo Derbez. The program won the Francisco Gabilondo Soler award for best children's radio program (2005).

He has parodied the characters that his sister Victoria Ruffo has played in soap operas, for example "María Fernández" from La madrastra, for the comedy program La Parodia with the title La Madre Esta. In 2011 she parodied "Victoria Sandoval", from the telenovela Triunfo del amor during the Telethon.

2013 represents his return to hosting on Mexican television with the program In the morning with Ruffo on the Grupo Formula television and radio network.
