Franco Andrea Bonelli (Cuneo; November 10, 1784 - November 18, 1830) was an Italian ornithologist and collector.

In 1811 Bonelli was appointed professor of Zoology at the University of Turin and curator of the zoological museum. During his stay at the museum, it formed one of the largest ornithological collections in Europe. Bonelli wrote Catalogue des Oiseaux du Piemont in 1811.
