Felix Loustau
Félix Loustau, (Avellaneda, Buenos Aires; December 27, 1922 - Ibidem; January 5, 2003) was an Argentine soccer player, member of the famous River Plate forward known as La Maquina, and three-time South American champion with the Argentine national team in 1945, 1946 and 1947. For many, he was the best left wing in the history of Argentine football.
His first steps were taken in his neighborhood, at the Unión de Crucecita Social and Sports Club located in the Crucecita neighborhood, Avellaneda. He then played in the lower divisions of Racing Club until, when he was 19 years old, a scout suggested he sign for River Plate. He debuted with the first team of this club in 1942, joining one of the most famous forwards of all time, La Maquina , which was formed by Juan Carlos Muñoz, José Manuel Moreno, Adolfo Pedernera, Ángel Labruna and Loustau himself.

There he lived one of River's best times, for whose showcases he won eight Argentine championship titles (1942, 1945, 1947, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956 and 1957). Nicknamed Chaplin for his physical constitution and for his peculiar dribbling movements, although in the beginning he acted as a lateral defender, he remained in history for the speed and skill he showed on the far left.
He defended the Argentine national team shirt in 27 games, scoring 10 goals, and with it he won three editions of the Copa América (1945, 1946 and 1947). In 1958, after having played 365 games (in which he scored 101 goals) with River, he went to Estudiantes de La Plata, where he ended his career that same year.
Later he worked as a coach and was a professor at the Argentine soccer federation's coaching school.
