The European Northern Observatory (European Northern Observatory [ENO]), is an observational complex made up of the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory and the Teide Observatory on the islands Canary Islands (Spain). It also has the Institute of Astrophysics of the IAC.
More than sixty institutions from nineteen states participate in the ENO (Armenia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, Russia, Sweden, United States, and the United States). Taiwan and Ukraine) since the Astrophysics Cooperation Agreement and Protocol was signed in 1979 between various countries.
