Esperanto culture
The Esperanto culture is the set of cultural elements created by Esperanto, which, when it was created as an international language, also engendered an international culture that cannot be associated with any country.
Esperantists often use the language to travel the world and live with other Esperantists. To facilitate this task (and seen as a practical element of the language) the Pasporta Servo (Passport Service) emerged, which allows you to stay free for a few days at the home of other Esperantists.

There are more than thirty thousand works in Esperanto and more than one hundred magazines are regularly published in this language.
Every year new literary texts and new songs are written (see specific articles on Esperanto literature and Esperanto music). Meetings and congresses
In 2001, the Universal Esperanto Association (Esperanto: Universala Esperanto-Asocio, UEA) had members from 119 countries. Every year, between 1,500 and 3,000 Esperanto speakers attend the Universal Esperanto Congress (Universala Kongreso de Esperanto) and every December 15 (birthday of L. L. La Espero is the anthem of the Esperanto world, which deals with world peace, fraternity and a neutral language for all. However, not all Esperantists agree with the idea that Esperanto could really help society if everyone spoke it. During the I Congress of Esperanto in Boulogne-sur-Mer in 1905, it was decided that an Esperantist is one who knows how to speak the language regardless of his motives, and that his opinions concerning the expansion of Esperanto are personal.
