Erytropsis is a genus of unicellular organisms in the superclass Dinoflagellata, class Dinophyceae, subclass Dinophyceae, order Gymnodiniales. With two heterocontous flagella in the sulcus and cingulum. They present a very differentiated stigma in oculiform apparatus.
