Eric Cartman

Eric Theodore Cartman, commonly called Cartman, although in some episodes he mentioned himself as Eric P. Cartman, is a character fictional character from the American cartoon series South Park. He was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Although he was a prototype and base model for a short called The Spirit of Christmas: Jesus vs Frosty (1992), he officially debuted in the episode Cartman Gets an Anal Probe , released on July 1, 1997.

He is one of the protagonists, he stands out for being manipulative, malicious, spiteful, racist and discriminatory, as well as being intelligent and a strategist. Thanks to this, he has turned out to be one of the best known in the history of modern animation in American television. He is also the sworn enemy of Kyle Broflovski (another of the protagonists), for whom he makes life impossible for being Jewish. This character represents most of the negative stereotypes associated with a US citizen.

Characteristics and personality

Eric Cartman is a 10-year-old elementary school boy who lives with his mother in the fictional town of South Park, Colorado. He is Caucasian ^{[citation needed]} and overweight; he almost always wears winter clothing, which consists in a turquoise wool cap that has a yellow stripe and ball, a red jacket, yellow gloves, and brown pants. When he is not wearing his cap, it is noticeable that his hair is brown.

He is the most obnoxious rude and hateful of his group of friends (Kyle, Stan and Kenny), he is also spoiled and selfish to the point of narcissism, temperamental, disloyal, wild, extremist, xenophobic, racist, chauvinistic, psychotic, sociopathic and especially anti-Semitic, constantly insulting Kyle and dressing up as Hitler on a few occasions. Aggressive and mocking even with those who consider him their friend, which is why he is generally the loneliest of the 4 (in fact, he plays tea with his dolls: Clyde the frog, with whom he feels very close; Mariquita Pérez and Peter panda, among others). When he sets his mind to it, he manages to outwit his friends and get away with it using his great ability, though they usually find out after his plans get out of hand. He adores cats, since in one chapter he hides cats in his attic.

Although Cartman fills the role of an anti-hero in the series, there have been episodes where he has developed an extremely psychopathic mentality, apathetic and insensitive to anyone in general. One of the episodes where he probably reached the height of his evil was in Scott Tenorman Must Die (from the fifth season), where, out of revenge, he devised a plan that caused the death of the parents of a teenager, he cut them into pieces, cooked them in chili and gave them to the same boy to eat. From that famous and remembered episode, Cartman became the main antagonist of the series and showing that his evil was not in itself "innocence"; of a child. Although Cartman has shown to have a certain amount of kindness, for example in The Big Boobs" (from the twelfth season) he was concerned about Kenny when he "cheeseed", and saved some neighborhood cats. In Free Wilsix he joined the boys to free a whale and restrained Kyle when he thought the whale was going to die. (Which later died because she was sent in a rocket to the moon).

Cartman's lousy diet condemns him to obesity, and his friends mock him by often calling him a 'fat ass'; or "culón". He always answers that he is not fat, but that he is "broad-boned"; or "little strong". His double chin and his body, which is twice as wide as his friends', are characteristic of him. Kenny worked for him in the early episodes, as when they have to do a group match, Stan goes with Kyle. As of the seventh season, the only one who works for him is Butters, since he considers him his friend and does not know that Cartman betrays him, although in most cases Cartman ends up more humiliated than him.

His mother, Liane Cartman, is a porn queen, plus she's a hermaphrodite, who turned out to be his father in season two episode two "Eric Cartman's Mom Is Still a Dirty Slut" (although she is a very sweet mother at the same time).

In the episode "201", the true identity of Eric Cartman's father was revealed: Jack Tenorman, a former Denver Broncos player whom Cartman murdered along with his wife and fed to him to Scott. (Who turns out to be his half brother).

In another chapter he confesses to being in love with a girl named Patty Nelson.

Despite their enmity with Kyle, deep down they consider themselves friends, so they can best be described as frenemies. Kyle is the reason Cartman hates Jews and redheads. On the other hand, Kyle is sometimes envious of Cartman's clever ideas and does whatever he can to ruin his plans. In one episode, when Cartman is diagnosed with AIDS, Kyle can't contain his laughter and has to leave the room to laugh in the hallway, while everyone inside listens silently to Kyle's guffaws. In a few episodes they have seen each other as good friends, but Cartman always wants Kyle to be humiliated. Unlike Butters, Kyle doesn't fall for his clever pranks as easily and is almost never afraid to confront him. Without Kyle, Cartman would have no one to make fun of or insult, so his life would be boring.

Cartman was also the superhero known as "The Raccoon," who "saves crime" confusing things and cared more about being famous and recognized, rivaling the superhero Mysterion who was more adored, and it turned out to be Kenny. He later forms a superhero group with his friends, but he is only interested in being famous and blackmailing Captain Hindsight (South Park's most beloved superhero) than in saving crime and people, so his friends decide to take him out. Then, believing that he is the hero and that his friends were "bewitched by an evil power", he decides to make an alliance with the god Cthulhu, who is taken as the most evil deity in the universe believing that he should " "join the enemy," and manipulates Cthulhu into destroying synagogues, killing hippies and Justin Bieber, and banishing his friends to dark oblivion, but then he and Cthulhu are defeated by Mint-berry Crunch, one of the group's superheroes. that he did have a superpower.

• Episode 10 Cartman and the boys hire a prostitute to give herpes to their parents, like revenge against them.

Third season

• Episode 3 Because of astigmatism, he is forced to wear glasses that made him look ridiculous. It is worth noting the ophthalmologist's mockery of being fat.

• Episode 4 He becomes a friend of the "jakovasaurus" (rare animals that no one bears), to the point of opposing being expelled from the people.

• Episode 6 He accuses of sexual harassment of Stan for just calling him "lamecles," which subsequently generates a massive chain of lawsuits for the crime of sexual harassment.

• Episode 7 Together with Shelley, Stan's sister, they get revenge on this boyfriend by destroying his guitar and making him believe that Salma Hayek naked is kidnapped.

• Episode 12 When he entered a "wrapped house" on Halloween's eve he touched cold spaghetti, believing they were intestines, when he really put his hand in a small ass' rectum. Also Cartman wants to make purchases of his Christmas gifts and believes an inflatable Anthony Banderas sex doll will be his Christmas present.

• Episode 13 He thinks he can cheat on the spelling contest using his Phonetic Monkey. He also wants to be better than everyone in class wishing to take classes at home when he actually only sleeps all day at home.

• Episode 14 In a representation of the U.S. Civil War, General Robert E. Lee was dressed and drunk the people's men so that the confederates conquered the entire U.S.. U.S., under the bet that Stan and Kyle are their slaves.

• Episode 15 In this Christmas special, Cartman sings his version of "Peace Night", making more reference to receiving gifts than at the birth of Jesus.

• Episode 16 Believing to have menstruation, he thinks he's already reached puberty. The supposed menstruation turns out to be nothing but a colon infection.

• Episode 17 To screw up the kids in New York, Cartman, in complicity with Kyle, Stan and Kenny, try to touch the "brown note," which causes massive diarrhea to whoever listens to it.

Season Four

• Episode 1 Hit Token Black, the only black boy in South Park, with a stone and is locked in a juvenile prison for committing a hate crime.

• Episode 2 Try to get Kenny's teeth out and steal one of Butters' teeth so the tooth fairy will give him the money.

• Episode 6 For an attempt at maturity, it joins NAMBLA, which by mistake turned out to be a network of pedophiles.

• Episode 7

Cartman falls in love with Wendy Testaburger and is kissed by her, in the end they become engaged

• Episode 11 It creates a sect to earn money in the name of Christ and as a punishment is sent to Mexico along with Kenny.

• Episode 13 You buy the super-fold that will cause the end of the world, when that folder is deleted, you buy another one.

• Episode 15 Because he's very fat, he's sent to the fat camp, where he starts to smuggle candy for fat kids, sending a replacement kid to make his family and friends believe that he slicked, (which he failed).

Season 5

• Episode 1 For $16.12 he stole from a teenager named Scott Tennorman, and he felt humiliated on several occasions, provokes the death of Scott's parents, chops them and mixes them with chili and makes Scott eat them. (Note: nine seasons later, Eric finds out that he killed his own father, an action that doesn't seem to matter to him at least, except for the great disgust that proves when he finds out that he is a family of redheads.)
• Episode 3 After he and Kyle joined a cult that worshiped David Blaine, the latter forces his followers to commit mass suicide so that the U.S. Congress will remove taxes and become a religion as such and with all its benefits. Eric, faithful to this cult, conflicts with Kyle as he wanted to leave that cult.
• Episode 6 After inheriting 1 million dollars from his grandmother, he buys a park of attractions that doesn't allow anyone to pass, so much is the envy that causes Kyle to get a hemorrhoid out, but then Eric finds out that he should hire many people to keep the park and that's why he lets many people pass (more than 800) until he finally sells it (since he hates the rows) and returns his money. • Episode 9 It calls for the removal of Osama bin Laden.

• Episode 10 He puts a picture of Kenny with his ass where his face should go, in a milk box pretending to look for him like he was a lost child. The picture makes some unsolved parents think they found their son who was born with an ass on his face, and it turns out that kid was... Ben Affleck.

• Episode 13 It takes advantage of Kenny's terminal disease to get dead fetuses for the study of stem cells in order to regenerate Kenny's pancreas. After the death of this, Eric reveals that his true intentions were to duplicate a pizzeria (successfully).

Sixth season

• Episode 1 It pretends to be depraved to win the prize of going to the world's largest minigolf field.

• Episode 8 He bets 20 bucks on Kyle that if he eats his ass, he defecates his mouth. After winning the bet (demonstrates that you can do it), it bothers Kyle boasting about his money in addition that, because he discovers the interorectogestion (which is what they call that way of eating) is decorated with a medal for the mayor.

• Episode 12 He takes Kenny's ashes, believing they were powdered chocolate, which causes the soul of this to possess his body. There are times when Kenny takes full control of the body and auto-insults Eric. One of the most memorable insults is when he says, "Callate, scupesangre vagina."

• Episode 16 It creates the "Paternal Revenge Center" for children who want to get rid of their parents, having as the only job the one requested by Butters, which fills the walls of their home with excrement.

• Episode 17 He tries to take Christmas to Iraq to claim for how bad it has been and for Santa Claus to give him an AIBO (toy dog) as a Christmas present, but he just wanted to see him die when he didn't give him food.

Seventh season

• Episode 3 Together with Kyle, Stan and Kenny, they fill their ceramic master's house with toilet paper for being punished, a crime that is investigated by the police officer of the village. Kyle having a charge of conscience decides to confess the fact, so Eric decides to kill him to prevent the truth from being known. After two failed attempts to kill Kyle, Eric decides to advance and confess the act to the director of his school, so he is rewarded with less drastic and less prolonged punishment than that of Kyle, Stan and Kenny.

• Episode 5 She does a Jennifer Lopez doll that gains more popularity than the very J-Lo and ends up ruining her career and her relationship with Ben Affleck.

• Episode 9 He bets Kyle that his Christian rock band can make a platinum album, only that Christian rock bands don't make platinum records. (Note: it was because Cartman understood, under Kyle's idea of discovering his style, but I actually only use songs dedicated to girls changing the words.)

• Episode 11 He cheats on Butters so he thinks apocalypse is approaching and he locks it in an anti-aircraft bunker to take his place on Kyle's birthday and go to the Mexican restaurant "Casa Bonita".

Season 8

• Episode 1 Believing to have ninja powers, it becomes invisible, when it really ends naked in front of a public.

• Episode 2 It becomes mentally retarded to compete in the special Olympics and to take (according to him) easily the money there is of prize, in which it fails, as it ends last in all physical tests. Then he tells his friends that he made it adrede so that Jimmy, who participates in the Olympics using steroids, realizes it's wrong to cheat.

• Episode 3 Inspired by the film The Passion of Christ by Mel Gibson, Cartman disguises himself as Hitler and decides to summon all those who have been moved by the film to help him get to his "final solution" (exterminate the Jews). At the end of the episode, Eric comes to know Mel Gibson who is full of praise, even calling him "my Führer."

• Episode 5 It is made to go through a robot called Great-o (Awesome-o, in English) to play with Butters and so make it tell you its most intimate secrets, but discover that Butters has seen him dancing like Britney Spears along with a real-size Justin Timberlake figure. So, Eric's trying to get the video back, the only proof he's playing wearing Britney.

• Episode 7 Feel a deep admiration for Lord Jefferson (Michael Jackson), to the point that in a dream he tries to kiss him.

• Episode 8 In the election to choose the new school pet, he makes every effort to make his candidate, a wet sandwich, defeat Kyle's, a big wash. Even though he bought the kids with sweets to vote for their sponsor, he is long beaten by Kyle's candidate.

• Episode 9 He wanted to get rid of his friends under Wal-Mart's orders to stop them from destroying him.

• Episode 13 After receiving a strong blow from the school roof in an attempt to fly, he pretended to be psychic in a crime for the police to pay for his services.

• Episode 14 He wrote a morbid, bloodthirsty, anti-Semite Christmas story in which Kyle (the anti-Christ) eventually died of AIDS.

Season 9

• Episode 2 Ghost-hunting, he removed the hippies from South Park. (Note, hippies were not native to South Park, but had gathered there from several parts of the country.) Cartman hates hippies since I was five.

• Episode 4 He made a whole protest to disconnect Kenny from the machine that kept him alive and so he could stay with his PSP (PlayStation Portable).

• Episode 6 After fooling their friends to eat the only crunchy cover of the Kentucky Fried Chicken who shared with the other children, they decided to make him the law of the ice, where all the children of the school joined in ignoring him in such a way that caused him to think he was dead. With the help of Butters, who was the only one who spoke to him, made a list of all his bad deeds and decided to pay people with fruit baskets so that they could go to heaven.

• Episode 7 He represents Tony Montana, a character of the movie Scarface, leaving the audience astonished (except his mother, who is proud) by representing such a character.

• Episode 9 It makes the whole town witness Butters' false suicide, throwing a dead pig with clothes and blowing it up on the floor in front of their parents. All this to infiltrate him into one of the girls in his class and try to steal a device that he sees into the future.

• Episode 11 Convince all the children of the school that the Colorados (small redheads, with pale skin and sins) are bad and must be excluded. After Kyle dyes his hair at night, Cartman thinks he's redheaded permanently and feels what the redheads felt as they were discriminated against. Handle all the red boys, with pale skin and freckles to rebel against normal boys and kill them all. Finally, they tell him that he is not really redhead and Cartman, using all his ability to manipulate, convinces the redheads not to kill anyone and makes them sing a song.

Season 10

• Episode 3 Cartman hits Kyle and leaves him on a road while heading to the FOX Television studio to cancel the Family Father series.

• Episode 4 His attempt to cancel the Family Father continues and is helped by a pseudo-Bart Simpson who kidnap Kyle for wanting to stop them.

• Episode 6 Being lost in a mine and trying to find the way out, the boys split up and Cartman finds a chest full of gold. To not share it with his friends, he swallows all the coins and then turned out to be false.

• Episode 7 He tries to kill his mother for not letting him do what he wants, although standing in front of her with the knife in her hand he repents and does not kill her.

• Episode 9 Makes all the fourth grade that Kyle was the 9-11 causer.

• Episode 10 They choose him as a corridor guard, becoming "The Dog" and extremely abusing his authority.

• Episode 12 Due to its extreme impatience, it is self-contained to appear 3 weeks later and to be able to buy the Wii console, but it is frozen for more than 500 years and appears in the future, where it waged a war of religions.

• Episode 13 He tries to avoid his own freezing by calling himself on the phone from the future, but he himself ignores and insults himself, and then tries to freeze again after returning from the future.

Season 11

• Episode 2 Trying to make Butters a joke, he takes a picture with his testicles in his mouth. Then he tells his friends, and when he realizes that the joke makes him ridiculous, he tries to get rid of the picture. Thinking that Kyle would show her, she decides to teach the class before he can. In the end, the picture was at Cartman's.

• Episode 3 Convince everyone that Kenny has lice and tries to wash him in the schoolyard, when in reality everyone has lice.

• Episode 4 It makes everyone believe that the new child is a terrorist just because he is a Muslim and starts an operation with the government. When Russian terrorists were actually in South Park, and Cartman stopped them.

• Episode 8 He pretends to have Tourette's syndrome and starts to say obscenities without them scolding, until he discovers that he actually lost the ability to think before speaking and starts to tell his secrets. Two secrets he mentions most are that every night he cries for not having a father and that he and his cousin touched the penises.

• Episode 10 Demand Kyle for not sucking his balls after making an agreement with him about finding a leprechaun.

Season 12

• Episode 1 In a tonsils operation, he accidentally contractes HIV and starts receiving Kyle's mockery. Cartman gets furious, he gets blood with a syringe and injects it into Kyle's mouth while he sleeps.

• Episode 3 Makes Kenny drugged with cat urine. Ironically, then take care of all the cats in the village in their attic when they become illegal.

• Episode 5 He pretends to be an old Latin teacher called "Mr. Cartmenez" and makes all students cheat on their exams.

• Episode 7 On a boring school trip, convince Butters to escape to an amusement park. While they are not, armed criminals arrive who had robbed a Burger King and kidnapped the entire class, the police surround the place. When Cartman comes back, he thinks the police are looking for them.

• Episode 8 After having nightmares in which the Chinese dominate the world, together with Butters, they create the American protection force, which should eliminate the Chinese.

• Episode 9 She mocks Wendy Testaburger for her breast cancer issue. Wendy's so upset she's planning to get revenge by selling it in a fight. Cartman is so scared that he puts on several excuses and tries to be punished not to fight, although in the end he ends up doing it and gets a beating of Wendy (probably the most brutal of the whole series).

Thirteenth season

• Episode 2 Cartman is a vigilante called "El Mapache" ("The Coon") and fights against evil by confusing things. For example, a man kissing his girlfriend, whom Cartman thinks he's a rapist. To clear up, Cartman was rather playing imitating Batman from the movie The Dark Knight and trying to remove the superhero recognition from Mysterion.

• Episode 5 He takes all the credit for the fish wands joke Jimmy invented.

• Episode 7 Create a group to become pirates and go to Somalia. Note, it was treated that in Somalía they say piracy to the criminals, and under a sarcastic comment of Kyle could go, although he followed it, because he took Ike, his brother, plus the alleged crimes was by Kevin's light saber, who believed him with the treasure but one of the criminals sensitized them except Cartman because he described Somalía as paradise, although Kyle submisses him. In the end they kill all the piracy except the boys, which bothers Cartman.

• Episode 8 Help Ike, who is possessed by Michael Jackson's soul, win the ladies' contest, convincing the judge with the chipotle removal. Note: He and Kyle were discussing the fact of eating chipotle if it causes, according to the series, further bleeding the reason is that Michael Jackson used Ike to fulfill his dream, to be a little white girl.

• Episode 11 Together with Kenny they go to the whale protection program just to get on TV.

• Episode 13 In trying to win the school's announcement post, he sabotages his competition and when he gets the job he starts to think Republicanly (providing Glenn Beck) by insulting Wendy saying that the school was wrong and that this was because Wendy being class president didn't do her job well saying she was a whore and that she was on drugs. He then sent monitors to the salons on the grounds that the ads were now video-based (approaching more to a Republican opinion program) now inventing that Wendy's real plan was to kill the smurfs (in addition to selling books to the students in which he continued to insult Wendy). When the director draws her attention by saying that she shouldn't insult Wendy because she's accrediting her more power than she really had, he claims that they're trying to shut her up and that she's leaving that corrupt school. The next day he returns to school and says he lived with the pitufos, he earned his trust, fell in love with pitufina, and became one of them, until one day Wendy came and killed all the pitufos, by the pitufiar bluebers (while he showed images of a movie that he had edited called "Bailando con pitufos") and that if they wanted to know the whole story, they should buy the movie. Wendy went to the show, before the Cartman program said she'd only ask her about the student committee and that it wouldn't be hard on her, but just start the program, start asking about the supposed genocide of pitufos, what Wendy starts to follow the game, saying that there was no other option, the pitufiar bluebers were the only source of energy for the school, that he had been sent to study them, that they would have been held back. The next day he returns to class, where he is asked because he is not reading the ads to what he answers that as president he cannot read the announcements and that in fact as president he did not have as much power as he thought (at the student committee meeting he was only choosing the colors for the fall dance). Now with the new ad reader he begins as Cartman to insult the class president, like the other students, to what Cartman alleges "I do the best I can" and goes crying out of the classroom.

Season fourteen

• Episode 2 He had Sarah Jessica Parker killed to break a book he wrote with his friends that they said Butters wrote it out of trouble.

• Episode 3 Cartman took the same place that Tony Montana took in the movie Scarface (1983 film), when KFC becomes illegal in the state of coloring and sees the need to traffic the illegally, makes a deal with Colonel Sanders, an act followed by betraying his boss and then being the new leader, soon after and because of his addiction to the chicken he does not get profit from it and therefore sends no profit to Colonel Oliver.

• Episode 5-6 Cartman tries to find out who his real father is, as he finds out that his mother is not his father, he rediscovers his hand with Jennifer Lopez, who turns out to be Mitch Conner, in the end, surprised, ends up discovering who is his true father, it turns out that it is Jack Tenorman, the father of Scott Tenorman, the latter formed a half of celebrities and colored children, pale and redheaded,

• Episode 11 Re-dressing "Mapache" and arming a group of superheroes with their friends. At the same time he beat up Mosquito (Clyde) doing parody of Mechanical Orange.

• Episode 12 Offended and furious because his friends pulled him out of the group of superheroes, together with the god Cthulhu to destroy what he hates most in the series (Jews, Hippies, etc.). (Note: the reason for his expulsion was because he asked Captain Retrospective to join, but he blackmailed him with an assembly of his, and he along with the boys did good actions to avoid catastrophes.)

• Episode 13 It crushes Justin Bieber's head, which he considers a threat. (Note: The real reason is that Cartman tricked Cthulhu to form a super-friend league and destroy the things he hates, including Justin Bieber. In the end, Kenny (Misterion) confronts Cthulhu of Cartman's jargon, in the same chapter he is arrested.

Season fifteen

• Episode 1 He does a rabbi in a Best Buy store because his mother can only buy him a Toshiba HadiBook instead of an iPad and starts screaming at him that if what he wants is to rape him, he does it in front of everyone, then he goes to Dr. Phil where he accuses his mother of having raped him, making people on the show stand on his side, then Steve Jobs gives him at a ceremony a HUMANCENTiPAD (based on the Human Centipede) formed by an Asian man, Kyle and a woman, who were in that situation crying for having signed a contract with Apple without reading the policies of conditions, yet Steve Jobs himself orders that they will be taken away from him, but Kyle himself is released.

• Episode 2 When the Germans take hostage children in response to being chosen as the least funny at the comedy award ceremony organized by Jimmy, Cartman offers them to take Kyle for being a Jew.

• Episode 4 It does a rivet because it mistakenly believes that the school has published the size of the students' penises, so it performs a "second review", measuring everyone's penises, however, director Victoria informs her that the measurements were of how much they had grown since the last physical examination, having put themselves only ridiculous.

• Episode 5 It forms the Athletic Association of Crack-Adicted Babies, in which it records babies of mothers addicted to that drug to put them on the internet, achieving great results, even makes Kyle unite, however, when Eric and members of his group sign a contract with the company EA Sports for a video game, they find that now EA Sports has the rights of the Association. (in the concept of the association only had in itself to be a ''university with a team of naive and easy-to-exploit basketball''' to earn enough money with which to pay a KFC fat pool with McDonalds popes and have Slash concerts, but in the end it turns out that Slash (according to the series) is a fictional character, invented to the children to behave.

• Episode 8 Confusing the word asperger with "ass burgers" or burger anus, he puts burgers inside his underwear to pretend he has asperger but does not achieve it, however when Kyle tries a burger without knowing where Cartman had them, tells him they are delicious and should sell them, which Cartman does along with Kyle, causing monetary losses to the big hamburgers chains.
