Enrique Norten (Mexico City, 1954) is a Mexican architect, founder of the firm TEN arquitectos.

Among his most recognized works are the mixed-use building Mercedes House, the Commemorative Park for the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Puebla, and the Musevi in Villahermosa, Tabasco. He has received several awards and recognitions for his work. .

Biography

He was born in Mexico City in 1954. He completed his higher education at the Universidad Iberoamericana, where he obtained his architecture degree in 1978. Additionally, in 1980 he obtained a master's degree in architecture from Cornell University.

In 1986, he founded the firm TEN arquitectos, an office that he chairs to this day. Together with the architects Alberto Kalach and Isaac Broid, Norten initiated an architectural renovation movement in Mexico at the end of the 1990s.
