An apparatus or electronic device is an artifact that consists of a combination of electronic components organized into circuits intended to control and take advantage of electrical signals with the purpose of performing some computer process. Unlike electrical devices, electronic devices use electricity to store, transmit, or transport information.

Example

An example of an electronic device is a sound amplifier that controls the flow of power from a microphone to speakers. Electronic devices are also much more complex devices such as a computer.
