Elazığ Province

Elazığ is one of the 81 provinces into which Turkey is divided, administered by a governor appointed by the central government. Elazığ Province is a province of Turkey that sits in the territory surrounding the city of Elazığ. In this province are the sources of the Euphrates River. The capital is the city of the same name. In the year 2000 it had a population of &&&&&&&&&0569616.&&&&&0 569,616 inhabitants (population density of 62.04 inhabitants/km²;).
