DVD-ROM
A DVD-ROM "Read-Only Memory Digital Versatile Disc" (from English Digital Versatile Disc Read Only Memory), is a DVD that belongs to the type of WORM media, that is, like a CD-ROM it has been recorded only once (recording method by embodied) and can be read or reproduced many times.
It is a disk with the ability to be used to read or reproduce data or information (audio, images, video, text, etc.), that is, it can contain different types of content such as movies, video games, data, music, etc
It is a disk with the capacity to store 4.7 Gigabytes according to the manufacturers in decimal base, and approximately 4,377 real Gigabytes in binary base or Gigabytes of data on one side of the disk; a more than 7-fold increase over CD-Rs and CD-RWs.
