Durge is a fictional character in the Star Wars film series.

This being of the Gen'Dai species was born 2 thousand years before the fall of the Galactic Republic. Although having a humanoid appearance, his species could live for more than 4 thousand years and regenerate upon loss of limbs or organs. Inside Durge's thick armor, was the real body of him; a network of nerve conduits that could be compressed into the shape of a humanoid being.

Durge broke the paradigm of his species, he was a violent being and lover of bloodshed. Such an aspect contrasted greatly with the rare species of him that he liked to avoid conflicts. Durge became over time an excellent Bounty Hunter and a formidable assassin. He was hired to destroy the Mandalorians some 900 years before the Clone Wars (Clone Wars) and was captured. After being tortured with chemical weapons and unknown technology, he was inflicted with terrible pain that affected him for centuries, without allowing him to die.

During the Clone Wars, he faced off against Obi-Wan Kenobi on the planet Muunilinst and was defeated several times, but always left regenerating and ready for another fight. Finally Obi-Wan Kenobi defeats him by forcibly exploding his body from the inside, but Durge survived and some time later he met Anakin Skywalker and fought him until Anakin threw him to a star where Durge found the end of him..
