A dressing table is a piece of furniture that is used to arrange the headdress, that is, the arrangement of the head, whether it is the hairstyle or the arrangement of any head covering.

Usually shaped like a desk, it usually consists of a mirror and a series of drawers where the instruments, cosmetics, perfumes and ornaments necessary for this purpose can be stored. It is usually located in the bedroom or adjacent room, also called a dressing table.

History

The first dressing tables began in Ancient Egypt and consisted of boxes where everything necessary for a beauty ritual was stored.

In Europe at the end of the XVII century was where the development of dressing tables was achieved, similar to those of today in day.
