Dennery District

Dennery is an administrative district located to the east of the island of Saint Lucia, a small country in the Caribbean area located to the north of Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago. According to the 2001 census, the region has a population of 12,767 inhabitants.

Among the main attractions in the area are some Amerindian vestiges and sugarcane plantations. The main economic activities are fishing and the cultivation of limes, bananas and other tropical fruits.
