Delphine Software
Delphine Software International (DSI) was a French software developer company in the field of video games, existing from 1988 to 2004. It is generally known as Delphine, its most representative games being the adventures Another World and Flashback: The Quest for Identity.
History
Delphine Software International was founded in 1988 as a part of the Delphine Group with initial headquarters in Paris. It was directed by Paul de Senneville (President), and co-directed by Paul Cuisset (Vice President), who was also the lead designer. In 1992 they help create the company Adeline Software International, formed by former employees of Infogrames and becoming a subsidiary.
In 2001 Delphine Software International abandoned its offices facing the Champs-Élysées to settle in Saint-Ouen. A year later, in December 2002, Delphine ceased to be part of the Delphine Group and in February 2003 it was bought by Doki Denki Studio, also French.
Doki Denki closed in July 2004 after declaring bankruptcy and conducting a liquidation of assets, also ending the Delphine story.
