Deka

Contenido Deca (symbol da) is an International System of Units prefix indicating a factor of 10¹ or 10. The prefix was part of the original metric system in 1795.
For example:
- decameter = 10 meters
- decaliter = 10 litres
Beyond is not in very common use, although decapascal is occasionally used by audiologists. The decanewton is also found occasionally, probably because it is an SI approximation of the kilogram-force. Its use is more common in Central Europe. In German, Polish, Czech, Slovak, and Hungarian, deka (or deko) is common and used independently, always meaning decagram. A track number normally indicates your magnetic azimuth in decades.
