Dathomir

Dathomir is a planet in the fictional universe Star Wars created by George Lucas.

Planet with very little gravity, located in the Quelii sector. This planet is inhabited by fearless women known as the Witches of Dathomir, so powerful that they can tame Rancor to ride them. It can be allied for trade with any clan of the Witches, among the most influential is: the Nightsisters (Sisters of the night) and the Signing Mountain Clan (clan of the singing mountain).

These witches used the force in their own way, manipulating it in a very different way than the Jedi or Sith, and even calling it something else. One of the most well-known witches is Charal: this unfortunate one she left her native planet only to crash-land on the moon of Endor along with the Marauders.

During the Galactic Civil War, they were controlled by Zsinj.
