Dario Grandinetti
Dario Alejandro Grandinetti (Rosario, Santa Fe Province, March 5, 1959), better known as Darío Grandinetti, is an Argentine actor. He is recognized for his numerous roles on television, theater and cinema, participating in films by directors such as Alejandro Doria, Pedro Almodóvar and Damián Szifron.
Biography
He was born in the city of Rosario, in the province of Santa Fe. His father worked for the National Grain Board (on Mendoza and Sarmiento streets). When Darío was 17 years old, his family moved to the small city of Las Rosas, where they lived for only a year and returned to Rosario. In Rosario he played in the youth teams of the Newells Old Boys soccer club. National Board of Grains as assistant, and coffee grower. And he began to study theater.For work reasons he moved to Buenos Aires.
Career
In 1980 he made his debut in a television series, Where I can love you. He emerged as a television actor. In 1984 he made his film debut with the film Realize . His filmography is predominantly Argentine or co-productions with other countries. His first foreign-produced film was The Day Silence Died (in 1998), by the Italian nationalized Bolivian director Paolo Agazzi. In 1999 he made Chiquititas (a children's program from Argentina) with Cris Morena. In 2001 he received the Konex Award (Diploma of Merit) as one of the five best film actors of the 1990s in Argentina. He has worked in many Spanish films and television series. He worked under the direction of the Spanish Pedro Almodóvar in the Oscar-winning film for best original screenplay Talk to her . He played the part of Argentine journalist Marco Zuluaga, a friend of Benigno. In 2012 he received the International Emmy Award for best actor for his participation in the television series Television for inclusion .
Personal life
In 1989 he formalized his relationship with the Catalan artist Eulalia Lombarte Llorca, with whom he had his first two children, María Eulalia and Juan, who is also an actor. The couple ended their relationship in 1992, with much controversy in the middle that included a legal battle for custody of the children, which ended up favoring the actor.
In October 1993, he met the Argentine ex-model and actress Marisa Mondino, whom he married in 1995 and had two more daughters: Lucía (born in 1996, but died in 1997 from hydrocephalus) and Laura, who also she's an actress. The couple ended their relationship in 2006.
In 2016 Grandinetti made official his romance with the Spanish actress Pastora Vega, ex-wife of the renowned Spanish actor Imanol Arias.
