Daisy Fuentes

Daisy Fuentes (Havana, November 17, 1966) is a Cuban-American model, presenter and actress. Her father is Cuban and her mother is Spanish.

Career

She has worked for MTV and other networks as a presenter. She was the host of MTV Internacional, a bilingual Spanish-English series that highlighted the latest in the Latin music genre. It included videos and interviews. She participated in the first group of MTV Latin America video jockeys in 1993.

She was an entertainer at the Miss Universe pageants in 1995 in Namibia, 2002 in Puerto Rico, 2003 in Panama, 2004 in Ecuador and Miss United States in 1995 and 2003.

She launched her sixth fragrance in February 2011 through Kohl's stores. The perfume called Mysterio (1.7 oz) will be priced at $39.50. Mysterio by Daisy Fuentes will join her five other fragrances on shelves at Kohl's stores, along with her hair care line, jewelry line, home collection, accessories and clothing line. She performs in Winsor pilates infomercials.

Personal life

She had a relationship with singer Luis Miguel, from whom she separated in 1998 after three years of dating. She appeared in the video "How is it possible that by my side" by Luis Miguel.

She married singer-songwriter Richard Marx in Aspen, Colorado on December 23, 2015.
