Czechoslovakia at the Olympics
Czechoslovakia at the Olympic Games was represented by the Czechoslovak Olympic Committee, a member of the International Olympic Committee between 1919 and 1993. After the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993, Czechoslovak athletes competed under the flag of their new countries: the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
It participated in 16 editions of the Summer Olympic Games, its first appearance taking place in Antwerp 1920. The country won a total of 143 medals in the summer editions: 49 gold, 49 silver and 45 bronze.
In the Winter Olympic Games it participated in 16 editions, being Chamonix 1924 its first appearance in these Games. The country got a total of 25 medals in the winter editions: 2 gold, 8 silver and 15 bronze.
