The cycling at the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games took place in two facilities in the city of Tokyo, between October 14 and 22, 1964.

In total, 7 different events were held in this sport (all in the men's category), divided into two cycling disciplines: 2 road events and 5 track events. The program saw a change in reference to the last edition, the individual pursuit event was added to track competitions.

No Spanish-speaking representative obtained a medal, although it is worth noting some meritorious positions. In the individual road test, the Spanish José López finished fifth and the Argentine Delmo Delmastro finished eighth. In the 100 km team time trial, the Argentine team (Héctor Acosta, Delmo Delmastro, Roberto Florencio Breppe, Rubén Placanica) was fourth and the Spanish team (José Ramón Goyeneche, José López, Mariano Díaz Díaz, Luis Pedro Santamarina) was eighth.
