Cunnilingus heterosexual

Cunnilingus (from Latin: cunnus, "vulva"; and lingō, lingĕre, "lick& #34;) is the practice of oral sex on the female genitalia (clitoris, vulva, and vagina). The clitoris is the most sexually sensitive part of the female genitalia, and its stimulation can lead to sexual arousal in a woman or reach orgasm.

Cunnilingus sáfico

Cunnilingus can be sexually arousing to those who practice it and can be done by a sexual partner as foreplay to incite sexual arousal before other sexual activities (such as vaginal or anal intercourse) or as a erotic and physically intimate act alone. Cunnilingus may pose a risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections (STIs), although the risk of transmission from oral sex, especially HIV transmission, is significantly lower than vaginal or anal sex.

Oral sex is often considered taboo, but most countries do not have laws prohibiting the practice. Heterosexual couples commonly do not view cunnilingus as affecting the virginity of either partner, while lesbian couples commonly view it as a way to lose virginity. Some people may also have negative feelings or sexual inhibitions in relation to giving or receiving cunnilingus or refusing to practice it.

Practice

General

General statistics indicate that 70-80% of women require direct clitoral stimulation to reach orgasm. Shere Hite's research on human female sexuality indicates that for most women, orgasm it is easily achieved through cunnilingus due to the direct stimulation of the clitoris (including stimulation of other external parts of the vulva that are physically related to the clitoris) that can occur during the act.

Édouard-Henri Avril painting describing Safo's life.

A person performing cunnilingus on another person may be referred to as a "giving partner" and the other person "receiving couple". During the act, the receiving woman's partner can use their fingers to open the labia majora to allow the tongue to better stimulate the clitoris, or the woman can do it herself. Spreading the legs wide apart also usually opens the vulva enough for the partner to reach the clitoris orally.

Some sex manuals recommend starting with a softer and less focused stimulation of the labia and the entire genital area. The tip, side, or underside of the tongue can be used, as well as the nose, chin, teeth, and lips. Movements can be slow or fast, regular or erratic, firm or smooth, depending on the preferences of the participants. The tongue can be inserted into the vagina, either rigid or moving. The partner performing cunnilingus may also hum to produce vibrations.

Cunnilingus may be accompanied by inserting fingers into the vagina or anus, or using a sex toy; in the case of vaginal penetration, the goal may be to stimulate an area that can be called the "G-spot".

Women may consider personal hygiene important before engaging in oral sex, as poor hygiene can lead to odors, sweat buildup, and micro-waste (such as lint, urine, or menstrual blood), which can be unpleasant for the partner who gives. Some women remove or pluck their pubic hair, which can enhance their oral sex experience.

Autocunnilingus, which is cunnilingus performed by a woman on herself, may be possible, but requires an unusually high degree of flexibility, which only contortionists can possess.

Variants and specific positions

Cunnilingus can include a practice called Humming, which consists of making a guttural sound with the throat to tingle the sensitive female genital mucosa. It is also possible to orally stimulate the upper part of the female genitalia while inserting the penis into the vagina.

As a form of self-masturbation it is very infrequent (autocunnilingus), due to the physical difficulty, which is why it is usually performed by another person.

It can be carried out by one or several people, of the same or different sex.

When two members of a couple perform oral sex on each other simultaneously, it is known as 69, whether it is two fellatios, two cunnilingus, or one fellatio and one cunnilingus.

Any position that offers a sexual partner oral access to a woman's crotch area is suitable for cunnilingus, including:

  • In the puppy position, the woman can bend four-legged while her partner practices oral sex from behind or below.
  • In the position of sitting on the face, the woman can sit on her partner's face or on her. In this position, the woman has more control over the movements of her body and can guide her partner or self-stimulate against her face.
  • While lying on her back, the woman can open her legs or climb them to the chest, or place them on her partner's shoulders. It can lie on any surface, like a table or floor.
  • Members of the couple can stimulate each other through the position of 69.
  • The woman can sit in a chair or use some other support.
  • The woman can extend and open arms and legs spreadeagle).
  • The woman may stand while her partner is sitting or kneeling. However, in this position clitoris is more difficult to achieve and orally stimulate. Women can either rely on the wall or hold onto the furniture to support themselves.

Ethology

Posture of 69

In the society of bonobos (also called "pygmy chimpanzee") sexual relations play a preponderant role, since they are even used as a form of greeting and as a form of payment through favors from females in exchange for food; and, as in humans, they represent a means for conflict resolution or a way of reconciliation. Bonobos are the only primates (other than humans) that have been observed engaging in all of the following sexual activities: face-to-face genital sex (primarily female-on-female, followed in frequency by male-female intercourse and male-male rubbing), kisses with tongue and oral sex.

Sexual activity takes place both within the immediate family and outside it, often involving both adults and young. Bonobos do not form stable relationships with single partners. Nor do they seem to discriminate in their sexual behaviors based on gender or age, with the possible exception of sexual relations between mothers and their adult children; some observers believe that such pairings are taboo.

History

Chinese

Wu Zetian—reigned from 690 to 705 AD. C.— was the only Chinese empress who, making use of her position, created a decree by which all visiting dignitaries should pay her respects by performing cunnilingus on her.

Rome

Erotic Fresco discovered in Pompeii

The Romans tied power to oral sex, creating dominant and submissive roles. Although cunnilingus was considered a dirty practice, thanks to some graffiti done in public baths and words carved on the walls, it is known that some male prostitutes waited in the corners of these baths for women who requested their services.

Practicing fellatio or cunnilingus, whether the perpetrator was a man or a woman, made him guilty. According to the Roman hierarchy of sexual degradation, a man suspected of having orally stimulated a woman lowered himself more than one who was penetrated by another man. He was imposed the legal status of infamous, on the same level as prostitutes, gladiators and actors, which prevented him from voting and representing himself in court.

In the Bible

The Song of Songs seems to contain a direct reference to cunnilingus, although many English translators avoid this reading in favor of the term "navel". An alternative translation would read like this:

Your vulva (ombligoIt's a pitcher,
where the aromatic wine is not missing
Song of the Songs 7:2 ك ك أن من م ن م ن مع و م أع م من[chuckles]required]

In context, going up from her sandals, to her vulva, over her belly to her breasts, make the meaning "vulva" (Heb. shor), derived from an Aramaic word meaning "secret place", be conclusive.

Both the Christian and Jewish traditions give spiritual importance to erotic intimacy between the bride and groom described in the "Song of Songs".

Taoism

It is known that cunnilingus was revered in Chinese Taoism. This is because the goal of Taoism is to achieve immortality, or at least longevity, and the loss of semen, vaginal secretions, and other bodily fluids is believed to cause a corresponding loss of vitality [quote required]. Conversely, by retaining semen or by ingesting vaginal secretions, a man or woman can preserve and increase their Qì, or vital original breath [citation needed]. In Taoism:

La Great Medicine of the Three Mountain Peaks (The Great Mountain Medicine of Three Picos) is found in the woman's body and consists of three juices or essences: one in the woman's mouth, another in her breasts, and the third, but more powerful, in the Grotto of the White Tiger (White Tiger Grotto), which is in the Peak of the Purple Mushroom (The Pico de la Seta Púrpura).
Eighth Peace. Conjunctions and DisjunctionsTrad. Helen R. Lane. 1975. (London: Wildwood House, 1969) p. 97.

But the Taoist ideal is not reduced to the enrichment of men by female secretions; the woman also benefits from her communion with the man [citation needed ] , a trait that has led sinologist Kristofer Schipper to denounce that ancient manuals on &# 34; The Art of the Bedroom & # 34; lead to "a pretentious kind of man" that he is not Taoist at all.

Taoism aims to reconcile the opposites by mixing the feminine and masculine fluids and thus recover the mythical epoch that existed before the division of the sexes, the primordial time of "ch'i" original [citation required].

Cunnilingus and health

Since there is contact between the oral mucosa and the vaginal mucosa, it is possible to spread one of the sexually transmitted infections (formerly "sexually transmitted diseases" or "venereal diseases"), so specialists (doctors or sexologists) recommend the use of some means of protection (female condom, for example), especially if this practice is carried out with an unknown person.

Sexually Transmitted Infections

Chlamydia, human papillomavirus (HPV), gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis (multiple strains), and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs/STDs) can be transmitted through oral sex. Any sexual exchange of bodily fluids with a person infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, poses a risk of infection. However, the risk of STI infection is generally considered to be significantly lower for oral sex than for vaginal or anal sex, and HIV transmission is considered the lowest risk for oral sex. Furthermore, the documented risk of HIV transmission through cunnilingus is lower than that associated with fellatio, vaginal or anal intercourse.

There is an increased risk of STIs if the receiving partner has sores on their genitals, or if the giving partner has sores or open sores in their mouths, or bleeding gums. Brushing, flossing, or undergoing Getting dental work shortly before or after performing cunnilingus can also increase the risk of transmission, because all of these activities can cause small scratches to the lining of the mouth. These wounds, even microscopic, increase the chances of contracting STIs that can be transmitted orally under these conditions. This contact can also lead to more mundane infections by common bacteria and viruses found in and around the genital regions and their secretions. Due to the above factors, medical sources advise the use of effective barrier methods when performing or receiving cunnilingus with a partner whose STI status is unknown.

Cunnilingus during menstruation is considered high risk for the partner performing it because there may be a high concentration of viruses in the menstrual blood, such as hepatitis B.

HPV and oral cancer

A relationship between oral sex and oral cancer has been reported in people infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV). Research from 2005 suggested that performing unprotected oral sex with an HPV-infected person might increase the risk of oral cancer. The study found that 36% of cancer patients had HPV, compared to just 1% of the healthy control group.

A 2007 study found a correlation between oral sex and throat cancer. This is believed to be due to transmission of HPV, a virus that has been implicated in most cervical cancers. and that it has been detected in throat cancer tissue in numerous studies. The study concludes that people who had one to five oral sex partners in their lifetime had roughly twice the risk of throat cancer compared to those who never had oral sex, and those who had more than five oral sex partners. oral had a 250% increased risk.

Mechanical trauma to the tongue

The lingual frenulum (underside of the tongue) is vulnerable to ulceration from repeated friction during sexual activity ("tongue cunnilingus"). Ulceration of the lingual frenum caused by cunnilingus is horizontal, the lesion corresponds to the contact of the lower surface of the tongue with the edges of the lower front teeth when the tongue is in its most advanced position. This type of injury resolves between 7 and 10 days, but can reappear with repeated activities. Chronic ulceration at this site can cause linear fibrous hyperplasia. The incisal edges of the mandibular teeth can be smoothed to minimize the possibility of trauma.
