A cubic centimeter is a unit of volume. It corresponds to the volume of a cube with a side of one centimeter. It is equivalent to one millionth of a cubic meter and also to one milliliter. It is the second submultiple of the cubic meter.

Its symbol is cm³. Although it is sometimes abbreviated as cc or c.c., this abbreviation is not recommended.

Typically used to classify vehicle engines, such as motorcycles (eg, 250 cm³ engine), cars, trucks, etc.
