Crocodile Dundee
Crocodile Dundee, titled in English Crocodile Dundee, is a 1986 Australian-American comedy film directed by Peter Faiman and starring Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski. It was released on April 24, 1986 in Australia, on September 26 of the same year in the United States and on February 26, 1987 in Spain.
The success of the film led to the production of two sequels to it, the saga, according to estimates by Forbes sold 77,326,900 tickets in the United States alone.
Plot
Michael Dundee (Paul Hogan), nicknamed 'Crocodile Dundee,' is a crocodile hunter in a remote part of Australia. Coincidentally, news about him arrives in the United States and a New York newspaper decides to send a journalist to do a report on this exotic character.
Finally it is the editor's daughter, Sue Charlton (Linda Kozlowski), who travels to Australia to do it. After sending several reports on Dundee to the newspaper, and in view of the success they have, she decides to take it to New York so that the public knows it better. In the big city everything is new and strange for the exotic Australian hunter, since he was used to living without any of the comforts that the big city has.
Between Sue and Dundee feelings will arise that end in a love story; although Sue already had a boyfriend in town.
