Cornelian Law on the Priesthood

ImprimirCitar

Law decreed by Cornelius Sila in 677 ab urbe condita (which is equivalent to the year 77 BC in our calendar). This law returned to the priestly colleges the right to elect priests, a right that another law, the Domitian law, had previously taken from them to give it to the popular assemblies.
