Copper citrate is a salt formed by the reaction of copper oxide or copper sulfate in citric acid; It is soluble in water, and when dissolved it reacts with lead, silver and other metals, bathing them with an external layer of copper and citrate, and in turn, forming a solution of lead or silver citrate depending on the metal in which it is reacted by exchanging positions

Applications

The most common use is for cosmetic items.
