Congress
A congress is a meeting or conference, generally periodic, where legislators meet to discuss issues of various kinds. It is made up of three elements: moderator, mediator and participant.
- The moderator moderates the textual and lyric opacity of the arguments.
- The mediator gives security and firmness to the arguments mentioned at the congress.
- The participant creates control and serenity.
Associative and Informative Conferences

Other assemblies
Congreso has also been used to describe certain historic pro-independence gatherings of nationalists or revolutionaries:
- The Angostura Congress.
- The United States Continental Congress.
- The Iraqi National Congress.
- The General Congress of 1824.
- The Congress of Cordoba.
Some political parties, such as the Indian National Congress, also began as such an assembly.
