The Naples Conditions are concessionary conditions for debt rescheduling approved by the Paris Club in December 1994 that are applied in low-income countries, depending on the circumstances of each case. Countries may receive a reduction of up to 67% of the net present value of commercial debt (other than Official Development Assistance (ODA)) on the date prior to the cut-off. These conditions, combined with similar measures by other multilateral creditors, are known as traditional debt relief mechanisms.
