The shield of Oviedo is a representative symbol of the Spanish municipality of the same name, located in the autonomous community of the Principality of Asturias.

In the official coat of arms you can see two kneeling angels on an azure background, adoring and holding the Cross of the Angels. Surrounding the scene, in silver border, there is a legend in capital letters that says:

Very noble - Very loyal - Benemérita - Invicta - Heroica - Good.

These are the titles held by the city. At the bell, a royal crown of gold and precious stones.
