Contenido Chiba (千葉市 Chiba-shi?>) is the capital of Chiba Prefecture in Japan. Located east-southeast of Tokyo on Tokyo Bay, it is connected to Tokyo by the Sobu Line, Keiyo Line, and Keisei Chiba Line.
The neighborhood of Chiba is one of the main ports of the Kanto region. Although much of the neighborhood is residential, there are factories and industrial establishments along the coast.
Until 2003, the neighborhood had an estimated population of 909,497 inhabitants and a density of 3,342.76 people per km². The total area is 272.08 km².
The neighborhood was founded on January 1, 1921.

Curiosities
- Chiba is one of the first neighborhoods that saw the popular Japanese X Japan rock group playing in their independent era.
- Chiba is a neighborhood referred to in the novel Neuromante (1984), by William Gibson, a science fiction novel, considered a precursor to the Cyberpunk movement. The first part of the novel (chapter I and II) is called Chiba City Blues.
- In 2017 and 2018 he changed his official shield during the August 31st celebration of the Hatsune Miku voice bank launch anniversary for VOCALOID software. The annual event of the character called Magical Mirai took place during those same days in the region.
