Calista Flockhart
Calista Kay Flockhart (Freeport, Illinois; November 11, 1964) is an American actress, known for starring in the series Ally McBeal (1997-2002) and for her role as Kitty Walker in the series Five Brothers (2006-2011).
Biography
After working on Broadway and playing small roles, she gained fame for starring in Ally McBeal, a tragicomedy in which Calista plays a neurotic lawyer. With this role she was nominated for the Emmy , the Golden Globes and the American Comedy Awards .
She co-starred in Five Brothers, in which she played a radio journalist who returns to her family to work on a political debate program on television. They will have to find the balance between their personal lives, family businesses and their arguments between siblings. Each character is made up of the stereotypes of North American society.
In 2001, still single, she adopted a newborn baby, who was the son of a nurse who could not take care of him. The little one, who was baptized Liam Flockhart, was born on January 1, 2001 and Calista was present at the birth. On June 15, 2010, Calista married her partner, actor Harrison Ford in Santa Fe (New Mexico), who was already the father of four children from previous marriages. Both had already been living together since 2004. Harrison separated from screenwriter Melissa Mathison in 2004, after a marriage of more than 20 years in which they had two children: Malcom, born on October 3, 1987, and Georgia, born on June 30, 1990.. Ford and Flockhard do not have biological children. Calista's adopted son, Liam, would become Harrison Ford's fifth child.
