Kirundi Lyrics
Burundi Bwâcu, Burundi buhire,
Shinga icúmu mu mashinga,
Gaba intahe y'úbugabo ku bugingo.
Warápfunywe ntíwapfúye,
Waráhabishijwe ntíwahababuka,
Uhagurukana, uhagurukana, uhagurukana, ubugabo urîkukira.
Komerwamashyí n'ámakúngu,
Habwa impundu nâbâwe,
Isamirane mu mashinga, isamirane mu mashinga,
Burundi bwâcu, rági ry'ábasôkúru,
Ramutswa intahe n'íbihúgu,
Ufatanije ishyaka n'ubú hizi;
Vuza impundu wiganzuye uwakúganza uwakúganza.
Burundi bwâcu, nkóramútima kurí twese,
Tugutuye amabóko, umítima n'úbuzima,
Imâna yakuduhaye ikudútungire.
Horana umwami n'ábagabo n'ítekane.
Sagwa n'úrweze, sagwa n'ámahóro mezá.
Thank you for the compliment of the nations,
Agree l'hommage de tes enfants.
Qu'à travers l'univers retainisse ton nom.
Cher Burundi, sacred heritage of our aïeux,
Lyrics in Spanish
Burundi, oh sweet country
It will take place at the concert of nations.
In all this, honorably, achieved independence.
Meutri and mutilated, who still owns himself.
The moment came, he got up.
And it is proudly rooted among the free peoples.
Therefore, receive the praise of the nations,
Approve the tribute of your children.
And all over the world to sound his name.
Dear Burundi, sacred heritage of our ancestors,
Recognized that Governments worthy of
Cut allies than a sense of honor.
He sings the glory of his recovered freedom.
Dear Burundi, worthy of our soft armor,
In their noble service they dedicate our arms, our hearts and our lives.
The will of God, which gave him, to keep our veneration.
Under the auspices of the Unit,
In peace, joy and prosperity.
