On September 12, 2021, she became engaged to her boyfriend of 5 years, personal trainer Sam Ashgari. On April 11, 2022, she announced through her Instagram account that she was expecting her third child; the first of her together with her fiancé Sam of hers. However, on May 14, 2022 she announced that she had suffered a miscarriage. They were married in a private ceremony held on June 9, 2022 in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

In October 2022, Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account after posting messages against her father.
