Bocagea is a genus of phanerogamous plants with 33 species belonging to the Annonaceae family. They are native to Brazil.

Taxonomy

The genus was described by Augustin Saint-Hilaire and published in Flora Brasiliae Meridionalis (quarto ed.) 1: ed. Folio 33; ed. what 41. 1825. The type species is: Bocagea viridis A. St.-Hil.
