Apl.de.ap and Taboo stepped away from music a bit to focus more on their private lives, while Fergie and Will.I.Am, the leaders of the group, decided to release solo albums. The first to do so was Fergie, and without a doubt, who did best. It was her debut album The Dutchess released on September 19, 2006.
To promote the album, on July 10 of the same year he released the first single, "London Bridge", which was a great success at that period; It also managed to reach number 1 on iTunes and the Billboard Hot 100. The album was described by Will.I.Am as semi-autobiographical and conceptual "where all the songs tell a story of love, heartbreak, search for love, destruction of love and destruction for a new beginning. “This journey is what makes it unique.” The album is partially inspired by a seven-year relationship that Will.I.Am experienced and the infidelities and breakup of that relationship. According to the video on his My Space, he considers Songs About Girls to be his "debut album", with his previous two albums being just compilations of productions. To promote the album, Will. I.Am released three singles: "I Got It From My Mama", "Heartbreaker" and "One More Chance".
In 2009, the group reunited and released the album The E.N.D.
2009-2010: The E.N.D. and a new style

It is since then that the band incorporated that style.
«Boom Boom Pow» is the first single from The E.N.D., released on February 22 on the Internet and on March 30 on iTunes. It became the group's first song to reach number 1, where it remained 12 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. It also reached number 1 in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. Mazel Tov and L'Chaim. Black Eyed Peas joined a select group of artists who have held the first and second spots on the Hot 100 at the same time. Since "Boom Boom Pow" hit No. 1 in April, the group has topped the chart for 28 consecutive weeks, more than any other artist of the decade.
"Meet Me Halfway" is the third official single. This reached number 1 in the United Kingdom on November 15, 2009 and also reached number 1 in Australia, making it the third single from The E.N.D. to reach the top position in both countries. It spent 16 weeks at number 1 in the top 40, only defeated by "Stereo Love" by Edward Maya. "Imma Be" was the fourth official single in the United States, but in the rest of the world it was the first promotional single. Like the previous song, it combines the genres of dance pop, electro-hop and hip hop. The song was released digitally on iTunes in the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe on May 19 and May 17 in the United Kingdom as part of a countdown to the album's release. As it was not the official theme worldwide, "Rock That Body" was instead. "Rock That Body" was the fifth official single in the United States. On July 30, Billboard announced that Black Eyed Peas set the record for the group with the most consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (26 weeks, about 7 months). "I Gotta Feeling" reached its sixteenth consecutive week at No. 1, after 12 weeks above "Boom Boom Pow." Mariah Carey alongside Boyz II Men reigned on the chart for two of 16 weeks in the mid-1990s. In September, the group embarked on theThe E.N.D. World Tour, with dates in Japan, Australia and New Zealand. The tour lasted until the beginning of 2010. As for the singles from the album, approximately 25 million copies have been sold between the singles already mentioned. In 2009, it was the second best-selling album, only below the album from the singer Susan Boyle.
Numerous media outlets announced the possibility that the album could be the last of the Black Eyed Peas (since end means end in English), but in a later interview they denied the separation and that The E.N.D. means The Energy Never Dies, and argued that they still have many projects for the future. Apl.de.ap has commented that in the summer the E.N.D. Deluxe Edition, where a new single would be played on the radio between April or May 2010, and there will be another album, where there will be new songs.
2010-2011: The Beginning and separation rumors
Will.I.Am stated in a telephone interview that at the end of 2010 they were going to release a new album titled The Beginning, which was recorded in July and October 2010 and apart from their original standard edition consists of Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions. The new album went on sale digitally on November 26 and physically on November 30 2010. However, it has been a little less successful than the previous two albums (Monkey Business and The E.N.D.). It has also been criticized for will.i.am's almost takeover of the album and the repeated use of auto-tune. They toured South America, although appearing only in two countries, Brazil and Paraguay.

Sadly, they were forced to cancel the huge concert when lightning started a storm, leaving fans soaked and upset.

It was canceled for everyone's safety. The organizers hope to reschedule it, so fans will be able to hold on to their tickets." Young people are admitted according to the recommendations of their teachers and their signs of interest in the subjects taught, such as camera work, editing and graphic design.
«Our passion for music and media was fueled by many generous people on our path to success,” said Will.i.am. «Expanding the network of Peapod Adobe Youth Voices academies allows us to give back even more, in order to give more young people the tools and support they need to fulfill their dreams».
It has recently become known that, as in New York, the band has sponsored an arts academy in California aimed at promoting the skills of disadvantaged young people who want to dedicate themselves to the world of entertainment, music and dance.
