Bettina bunge
Bettina Bunge is a retired professional tennis player, born June 13, 1963 in Adliswil, Switzerland. Bunge won several WTA tournaments in the 1980s.
Career
She was born in Switzerland, the daughter of a German businessman dedicated to the fish sector, the whole family moved to Peru where they lived for 13 years. She there she became a national champion at 13 years of age. She subsequently moved to the United States, to Miami, in the state of Florida. Although she fixed her residence in Monaco, she lives in Miami. She is fluent in 3 languages: German, Spanish and English and she was learning French. She was considered one of the most attractive players on the women's circuit and she had a great personality. She showed a great level of play, but suffered major injuries, having to undergo knee and ear operations. She made a great squad of German players during the 1980s, along with her friend Claudia Kohde-Kilsch, Sylvia Hanika, Eva Pfaff, Claudia Porwick and Steffi Graf.
