Contenido Bespén is a town belonging to the municipality of Angüés, in La Hoya de Huesca, province of Huesca (Aragon). It is located 25 km east of Huesca and communicates with Angüés on the A-2203 road.
History
- In the year 1099 King Peter I of Aragon confirmed to Montearagón the church of "Bespen" (UBIETO ARTETA, Diplomatic Collection of Pedro INo.62.p.298)
- On February 6, 1233 King James I of Aragon granted to Artal de Foces the villas of Alquézar, Tramaced, Kissand Olson (HUICI-CABANES,DocumentsI, n.o.176)
- On December 13, 1287 King Alfonso III of Aragon gave Alamán de Gúdar the castle and village of Bespan (SINUÉS, n. 503)
- 1970-1980 is incorporated into Angüés
