Belinda Peregrín Schüll (Madrid, August 15, 1989), known mononymously as Belinda, is a Spanish-Mexican singer and actress.

She began her career as a child actress when she was just ten years old. In 2002, she signed with BMG and two years later she released her debut album, Belinda. During her first decade in the Mexican pop industry, Belinda became a prominent figure in Latin pop music and popular culture, with a highly publicized personal life, leading her to be considered "the princess of Latin pop." Biography and career

1989-1999 early years

Belinda was born in Madrid, Spain, on August 15, 1989, the daughter of Spanish Ignacio Peregrín Gutiérrez, and Spanish-French Belinda Schüll Moreno, who in turn was the daughter of a French bullfighter named Pierre Schüll. a younger brother named Ignacio. Her father and her uncle had a medical products factory in Madrid, and they decided to set up another one in Mexico.
